I liked the friendliness of staff, including the housekeeping. I liked the space & the quietness. I liked its environment with convenient shops, rows of street shops opposite, Paradise Walk mall, subway station, healthy breakfast (home cooked), coffee clubs & lots of eateries plus a Jap Restaurant down at the ground floor. The unit we had wasn’t a fanciful one, it faced the office block, but the people who welcomed us, who cleaned it well as well as helping us resolve dryer issue were excellent. We slept with peace. We had good sleep! At breakfast, the lady staff will recommend Hangzhou food to us, also their freshly brewed but unsweetened soya bean milk & steamed Chinese yam. The kitchen made a bowl of wanton soup with smooth wanton skins for us...hot but wholesome to eat in that cold weather! Appreciate their warmth & kindness. Lots of genuine smiles, greetings & service. Very quick check-in & check-out. Will definitely revisit Shama if we are in Hangzhou.
I would give this serviced apartment 6 stars if there is one. Staff of this hotel was super friendly and extremely helpful. One of manager on-duty led us to a nearby mall and subway station personally as we were not familiar with neighbourhood. Vincent, another manger, planed a great West Lake itinerary which saved us a lot of time and money. The room was roomy and clean. No complaint on breakfast and they have been improving their meal selections. The hotel is located in the newly developing area at the east side of Hangzhou. It is only takes minutes to Jingshahu station of Subway Line 1 by walk . However, it takes about 40 min to the West Lake by the subway though.
