Great area for tourist evertthing is close by

The experience was okay, but there were some aspects which have lowered my rating. The room was satisfactory, but as a 'Duluxe' appartment it was underwhelming, the furnishings were a bit worn and it lacked basic items such as bedsite lamp. When I arrived I only provided with one small towel, so I had to ask for more. After a few days I went to raise some more issues with reception and management. I asked for new sheets and toilet paper. I also did not have a safety deposit box. I was incorrectly told that my booking did not allow any of this and I was told that I had to contact Expedia. After having to formally complain about these things they were resolved by a maid, but the experience was dissapointing. I also chose this property based on it having a Spa for massage, but there was no information. When I tried to book a treratment I struggled to get anything scheduled and when I did confirm an appointment I was waiting for an hour and nobody turned up. I wish I chose cheaper accomodation in a better location, such as Chapinaro.

I was very surprised at how old fashioned the place was, in the pictures it looked more up to date. Also I have stayed at many places in Bogota and they are usually spotless, not this place I saw hair on the couch the counters had not been cleaned off and I think the worst part is the money we spent on everyday items such as cleaning supplies, trash bags, paper towels, toilet paper and hand soap. All except the cleaning supplies should have been readily available but they were not. The amount of space was the only positive for me. It was 4 of us and there was a pull out couch and 2 bedrooms with two baths and the kitchenette.

If you like an extremely firm mattress, you are in luck. For me though, it was very uncomfortable. The place was chilly for me and i wound up taking the sheets off of the second bed to soften the mattress underneath me and add warmth. There was also damage to the walls; cracks, scuff marks, and a bit of crumbling at the corners. The shower floor tiles are dangerously slippery with no grit so when soap hits the wet floor you slide. After our second week there the internet became intermitent and seemed to be throttled to prevent over use. This was frustrating because i was working and had to take several days off while i figured out an approved way to access my companys network that would not cause certificate errors. There was a ton of noise from costruction that i was not expecting. The walls were paper thin. I could hear every conversation staff and guests had in the hallwa bas if i were standing there with them. Despite these cons, the apartment did have some pros. There were pots, pans, dishes, and utensils for use. There was a coffee maker, stovetop, stove, and microwave and decent sized refrigerator. The property has a nice rooftop area with a workspace, pool table, and outdoor lounge area. You can do laundry and pay with an app, which is great for those staying for a longer time period. The doormen were friendly and courteous providing security from random strangers entering the property.

Poor communication with property manager.
