Second time staying at this hotel. The staff, same as last time, were all very friendly and helpfull. Breakfast is good, and the new addition of room service for lunch and dinner made it even better. The area where the hotel is located is very quiet and safe, so we'd often end up walking to the nearby restaurants in Laureles, or sometimes just simply going out for a walk around the block. Although the rooms do have a bit of a dated feel, it's still has the "feels like a home" feeling to it. Will definitly stay here again.

Ya es la segunda vez que me hospedo me gusta mucho pero esta vez bajo mis expectativas Cuando llegue y ya había pasado la hora del check in más de las 3 de la tarde apenas estaban terminando de limpiar la habitación y ya había indicado que mi vuelo llegaba a las 10 am aún así me fui hacer unas cosas para dar chance El wifi nunca me sirvió muy malo El cuarto fue muy pequeño pero funcional a lo que se necesita El desayuno como siempre espectacular y la señora morena que trabaja en el lado de la cocina su servicio excelente muy atenta Debo volver y espero volver a quedarme ahí pero esperemos mejoren en ciertos puntos que deben mejorar

The hotel is an older but very well-maintained property that is conveniently located near major attractions, restaurants, shopping centers, you name it. What we did not walk to, we caught a short taxi ride to. Brayan and the other front desk staff and restaurant staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The rooms were clean. The breakfast was delicious. The hotel has old school beauty and charm conveniently located in the city center.

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at the Solar Hotel Casa Laureles! From the moment we arrived, the entire staff went above & beyond to make us feel incredibly welcomed. Valentina, Boris, and the kind young woman who worked the desk in the morning were all exceptionally hospitable, ensuring every aspect of our stay was seamless and enjoyable! The views from our room were beautiful 🌃 We were considering staying at another hotel in the area, but we’re so glad we chose Casa Laureles instead. The warmth & attentiveness of the staff truly set this place apart. Whether it was helping us with recommendations, making sure we were comfortable, or simply greeting us with genuine kindness each day, their dedication to excellent service was evident. PLUS the breakfast was phenomenal 🥘 fresh fruit, pastries, fresh juice & more! The hotel’s ambiance was equally impressive—clean, cozy, and thoughtfully designed with extra beds if needed. It’s clear that the team takes great pride in making every guest feel at home ❤️ If you’re looking for a place that offers both exceptional hospitality & a welcoming atmosphere, the Solar Hotel Casa Laureles is the perfect choice. We can’t wait to return!

This hotel was a fantastic location in the safe and peaceful neighborhood of Laureles. The staff was wonderful. Included buffet breakfast was great. The rooms are a bit outdated, but perfectly clean and functional. The main downside was thin windows so you could hear motos buzzing all night. But, I'd still stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The breakfast and lunch were delicious. We highly recommend staying here. We will be back.

Great hotel. Could use some updating and the windows are so thin that you can hear everything outside, and every buzzing of motos, all night long. But that's a big Latin American city. The location was fantastic and the staff was great, friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay there again, but I'd ask for a room not on the street side.

The staff was very friendly and professional. The location was very nice for walking around town and finding good restaurants.

The room was comfortable but with lots of street noise. The shower water was very low pressure and it was difficult to get hot water to flow through the shower.

Nice neighborhood. Perhaps invest in better insulated windows and sliding doors. At night traffic is somewhat loud.

Everyone was very nice & friendly. Yamile, at restaurant for breakfast, was very attentive and on top of things, making sure we had everything we needed. Sneider(think that's how it's spelled) night front desk attendant, was very nice also. Anything we needed, he helped us. Everyone on the staff, but Yamile & Sneider, were the 2 we interacted the most, they went above and beyond & needs to be mentioned. Will definitely be back. Bed was a little hard.
