더 아일랜더 호텔

공항에서 제일 가까운 호텔입니다. 식당이 큰데 관광객 뿐안아니라 현지분들도 가족단위로 이용을 많이 하시는 것 같습니다. 직원분들이 매우 친절하세요. 방도 청결하게 관리해주십니다. Bar가 있는데 밤늦게 까지 신나는 분위기를 만들어줍니다. 성향에 따라 의견이 다를 수 있겠지만, 저는 그런 Bar가 있어서 타지에 와서 적막하지 않고 좋았어요. 호텔 바로 옆에 Beach가 없어서 그건 좀 아쉬워요. 바다에 들어가려면 이동을 해야합니다. 다음에 쿡아일랜드에 오면 이 호텔을 또 이용할 생각은 있습니다. 특히 마지막날은 꼭 이곳에 있고 싶네요. 그 날에 행사가 있으면 더욱 좋겠네요.

A weird set up. Looks like an old motel was closed in. Anyhow, room big and clean, if dated and a bit worn. There is noise from bar area until 11 pm. They are very clear about that, but not really a problem. Pool is pretty much unusable for adults as it is essentially in the middle of the restaurant. Weird. But kids used it. Large resteraunt on the ocean. Food pretty good and reasonable price. Staff friendly. Don't complain if it takes a while, just chill. They are clear about that also. Good for a night before flying, but not for a vacation stay.

TV has not worked at each visit. No person on duty could fix. We were charged early check in even though room was already ready for us when we made the request. Early check in charges are traditionally charged when staff schedules have to be altered to accommodate. Safe non operating

The food provided was of an excellent standard. Staff were always very helpful, warm and friendly. The AC unit in our room was effective and the amenities and decor were delightful.

The location can’t be beat for a layover. Arrived around midnight. Slept well, great breakfast, then walked back to the airport to fly to Aitutaki.

My late, after hours, check in went smoothly. All the people working there were courteous and professional.

Fantastic spot, so close to the airport as we had an overnight and then an early morning flight. food was fantastic, staff very friendly, awesome stay

Hotel is in a very convenient location to the airport. The rooms are nice and clean. Staff is very friendly.

Our flight came in late and the Islander was walking distance from the airport. Friendly staff quickly got us to our rooms! Slept great, had a delicious breakfast at their oceanfront restaurant that was included in our stay. All in all it was a great place to stay overnight!

Booked a day use room rate to accommodate a long period between flights. Room was really clean and spacious for what we would consider an “airport hotel”. Restaurant/bar area was awesome and good/drinks really good. Staff were really friendly and helpful, spa onsite to grab a massage before flight home. Thanks for a comfortable few hours :)

Clean room and wonderful hot breakfast.

The AC and Fan combination was amazing, kept the room cool, the room was spacious and the beds comfy, the staff were all friendly and helpful.

The lady at reception. Can’t remember her name (blonde, curly hair tied back in a ponytail. Pa’paa lady) but she checked me and my family in and out. She made us feel important and comfortable. She delivered great customer service. I would definitely recommend this hotel. Food and ambiance is great and it has met my expectations.

Property is always a delight to return to but coming in with a late flight we booked and paid for two rooms but only one booking came up at reception. This was disappointing being tired from our travels from Aus,nz the Raro in 24 hours we wanted to rest. Took over a hour to sort our 2nd room besides that we were happy once settled in

Good place to stop near the airport when stepping off the plane. Place is dated though rooms are ok

Karaoke right outside my window. No TV. Lack of healthy options for food. Food covered in fatty sauce.
