호텔 콜로니얼

Very clean hotel/room. Free breakfast that consisted of: gallo pinto (yummy), fried banana (sooo good), scambled/boiled eggs, sausages, fruit, cereal, bread, yogurt etc. It was all very yummy. Everyone was very hospitable! Would return.

This Hotel has a parking área close by. In front of this hôtel, they have an excellent Argentine restaurant. It lack an elevator so if you have leg issues ask in advance for a first floor room. The personnel is excellent and helpful.

Das Hotel ist sicher und sauber. Das Bad war relativ neu und es gibt heißes Wasser zum Duschen. Die Lage ist super und das Personal super freundlich.

El área donde se encuentra este hotel es un área donde hay mucho deambulante , me sentí un poco insegura en el área más que viajaba con mis hijos. Las paredes del cuarto se encontraban en mal estado y las camas ya están de cambiar. Había mucho olor a humedad en el cuarto. Entiendo el concepto vintage a la estructura pero deberían mejorar las condiciones de la habitación. El trato del personal fue amable.

Clean and comfortable

This hotel is conveniently located in downtown San Jose. Parking was easy enough in a secure lot around the corner. Breakfast was a highlight, with an array of fresh fruits, gallo pinto, and scrambled eggs. Our room (35) had an exceedingly small bathroom and had windows facing the street, though noise was not bad. Our television did not work, but the bed was comfortable enough.

Very nice. Small and personable. Staff very nice. Good location to walk to museums.

Our room’s bathroom’s ceiling had black mold. Other than that, it was good. Reception and staff were excellent and friendly. Restaurant was very good as well.

No idea how this place even has an 8 score on here. In costa rica for a week with 4 different hotels throughout the country and this one by far the bad one. Lobby was cute but room was filthy. Old furniture that is scratched and beat up from the tables to the shelves. Super thin pillows and toilet paper. Walls had huge stains all over them. Nothing like the photos. Also the room doesnt seem to have AC, i turned it down to 20 and it never got cool, woke up in the middle of the night sweaty. I stood on the bed to feel the smallest trickle of air come out of a single vent. We went to take a shower and no hot water. Called front desk and they said they would check on the boiler, then a callback 5 minutes later they tell us its broken and there wont be any hot water. The breakfast was above my expectstions and thats because the night before was so bad i expected it to be on par eith the room. Would not recommend this place, and I've stayed all over latin america in all different kinds of hotels and hostels. This one not worth it in my opinion.

Excelente ubicacion

Places is beautiful and in a great location to be down town. Area around the hotel isn’t safe after dark but hotel does a great job to keep inside safe.

Bon petit-déjeuner, bon restaurant, très proche du centre-ville, parking extérieur sécurisé, reste un peu bruyant du fait de la cour intérieure et de certains clients pas très discret.

It was a good location, easy to walk to some of the major sites of the city.

Great staff and restaurant was amazing. Very cute property. Only problem was no hot water. We stayed twice with 2 days in between and it did not get fixed.

Comfortable and in an excellent location to explore San Jose. Friendly, efficient, comfortable bed and a good breakfast

The bed and the shower were very good. The breakfast was varied and the staff helpful. The pool was disappointing, it really is only for kids to play in. The location is good and the price is right!
