Loved the location! Beach is awesome. This is a nice quiet place to stay. By 9pm it’s very quiet and chill. The rooms are clean however the beds and pillows aren’t the best but honestly the location and price made up for it. Our room was clean and the perfect size we were right next to the restaurant kitchen and it did get noisy there starting at 5am so I recommend a room further away but really this property is a gem!

Ich hatte ein Upgrade bekommen, Zimmer mit Blick bzw Balkon zum Meer. Das Zimmer war Groß, geräumig, sauber, Bett sehr bequem

The only thing we liked was that it was on the beach, but the hotel is old and not very clean, there’s a pool but also not clean, food is ok, staff is helpful after a while, no shampoo or conditioner, hair dryer didn’t work, food was ok, chairs on the beach were limited and taken, beach is ok not the nicest in the area, about 15-20 minute walk from the town, for the prove you would think they would have better amenities, cleaner rooms, and upgraded interiors

This place was amazing. The staff were great. Traveled with 2 young kids and the staff were very welcoming and friendly. Highly recommend.

Our room had amazing volcanic view. The breakfast (free!) included a variety of options and food was amazing! Walkable distance to other restaurants. Staff was friendly and had booked all our reservations! The only issue was with one of the tour guides who took us for night tour. He was not professional at all and took us to somebody else’s private property. Be aware of such scams and go with reliable guides.

Added an additional fee of $50 per night to the $440 charge I had paid previvous paid per contact with Experia for a four night stay for TWO People per night without aurtorization allegedly because the second person was not with me at the time of sign in despite the Fact that there was no mention of such a requirement in the contract I signed . So buyers Beware !!

an room upgrade without asking was a very nice touch

The property & room were nice. There was a frig but no coffee maker in room. AC worked good. The pool was great. There were not many pool chairs but they were always available. Also chairs set up on the sand for use. There was a rince off after coming from the sand. Breakfast was good however we were charged for coffee. We did not know you could not have refills. We got up to leave & they called us over to pay. It was a very high cost for coffee which is why I give it less stars. Seemed like a rip off & they didnt tell us. We mentioned it to the front desk & they said thanks for letting them know but can't do anything about it. Easy safe walk to town. We also walked from the hotel, across the highway to El Miro trail, saw lots of monkeys.

Location, Location, location. Great spot, well run, fantastic staff, safe parking, clean pool and good breakfasts. Btw they all speak English. We will definitely return.

Lovely resort with lots of greenery and colorful murals, a great pool, easy beach access, and good food. The front desk staff were not the most courteous folks, but the restaurant/bar staff were wonderful, happy to make any drink we requested if they had the ingredients. The garden view rooms are older and smaller, but comfortable. Part of our group was in a pool view room, which was larger, newer, and nicer. I would stay here again if I'm fortunate enough to return to Jaco.

Only complaint was no blankets on beds. AC worked great so was a cold night.
