The Springs Resort and Spa at Arenal

The AC on the room it didn’t work and they not even offer me another room or the manager took the time to talk to me

Honestly we didn't know how fun this place was going to be! I barely looked at photos, just focusing on reviews and there was SO MUCH TO DO!! We were busy from sun up to sun down, though we could have rested we had so much fun in the pools and down at the river, relaxing in hammocks and just shedding the stress of normal life. This resort is absolutely amazing, and I would go back again and again! The only downside was the beds were SUPER firm, too much for me but we balanced that out with pool time and the overall relaxation made up for it. Will be back!

By far one of my best stays ever. The guest where all so friendly and helpful the entire stay. They helped make reservations for excursions and transportation which made it so easy for me we even extended our stay an additional two nights.

Don't miss the sunset horseback ride with your family. Seriously, it's that good.

This place has plenty of hot springs and has a great atmosphere. You can enjoy hot springs and a pool or take the bus down to the “legit” springs that overlook the river - it’s a pretty magical place! The food options are limited but it is only a 10 minute drive into town

Wow!!!! What a gen of a resort. This place overall is like Heaven on Earth. My Room even had a private hit spring. Can’t wait to cole Back. Even the valet showed us Exotic Animals on the property. They really go out of the way at this resort !! Thank you

This has to be the nicest resort I have ever stayed at! The time of year we were there (early May) wasn't busy at all so we had no trouble finding a hot springs pool all for ourselves. There is a LOT of wildlife to see on their huge property. We did a guided nighttime walk with flashlights and we saw sloths, monkeys, frogs, and (gulp) snakes! The food at their restaurants was great! I ordered something different every night but my wife insisted on getting the same "Typical Costa Rican Meal" each and every night because she liked it so much. My rental car picked up a nail in the tire during the drive there (WARNING: it was three hour drive for us from San Jose) and the Valet re-inflated the tire and gave me directions to a local tire shop to get it repaired (for five bucks - what a deal!). We really want to come back to the Springs again some day!

Beautiful property. Loved all the restaurants. Used the Spa and that was wonderful. Hope to return.
