Just wonderful place!

Nice guest house / hotel close to the main sights in Split. Access to the property is on a short pedestrian-only street with pavestones, and there is no elevator in the property. So be aware that wheeled luggage must still be carried/ managed uphill. We parked in the nearest covered parking. It is approximately 5 mins walk with luggage. Free on street parking is potentially available in the area. The room was advertised as economy but would say it was a good double room size. Bathroom was shower only but this was no problem for us. Plenty of power points. Wireless internet was straightforward to access. The property does not have its own kitchen and breakfast is provided via a voucher for a nice restaurant on the main promenade. There are plenty of other breakfast/dinner options locally.

Hotel em localização maravilhosa ! Quarto aconchegante em um prédio histórico. Paula da recepção foi incrível e a filha do proprietário tb merece parabéns pelo trabalho. Colocamos 4 estrelas devido ao café da manhã oferecido ser em um restaurante na Riva, cerca de 400 m e em dia uma de chuva foi desagradável ir caminhando. Além disso tivemos que comprar um segundo copo de café pois só 1 era incluso .

Lovely little boutique hotel in an excellent location just a short walk from the port and all the shops and restaurants and bars. Delightful room with comfy bed and wonderful Spa Rituals toiletries in the bathroom which had an excellent shower. A delicious breakfast was provided at a very nice brasserie right on the main promenade. Great views and good for people watching!

Nice place

This is a beautiful hotel in the old town of Split. The room was not large, but it was charming and nicely appointed. The breakfast was at a nearby restaurant and really delicious, with a nice view of the ocean. Just be aware that the hotel does not face a main road, so you have to haul your luggage up a small hill to get to the entrance--or maybe pay your driver to do it for you.

Perfectly located hotel with the nicest most helpful staff. Marina, Rocco, all of the staff (and Hector the cat) were amazing. The view from our room was so pretty, and it was beautifully decorated. We came in February and the room was cozy warm (with great shower too). Comfortable beds, well-cared for property. (Fellow Americans: some units are up stairs. VERY worth it!! But talk to staff if you have trouble with stairs.) Lots of restaurants and all attractions were walkable. We hope to be back next spring!!

Recently created from refurbished buildings. Access to the hotel is up a hill through narrow streets and access to rooms is via a narrow steep staircase. We paid for superior room buts it's basically an ordinary double room. The pool was a welcome treat.Breakfast was quite a walk away and was poor with limited choice.

Prima accommodatie maar foto's geven een vertekend beeld. Kamer is prima en schoon maar niet heel groot. Als je slecht ter been bent minder geschikt i.v.m. de vele trappen (en geen lift). Goede plek om te overnachten en te douchen maar stel jezelf er verder niet teveel bij voor. Wel voorzien voor goed werkende airco en minibar. Op loopafstand (250m) van restaurants en winkels. Ontbijt is elders in een brasserie aan de boulevard en viel ons erg tegen en hebben na twee dagen ervoor gekozen elders te gaan ontbijten. Personeel is buitengewoon, ze doen er echt alles aan om het naar je zin te maken en zaken voor je te regelen. Parkeergarage voor (huur)auto tegen gereduceerd tarief (€ 25,- per dag) op korte loopstand

Delightful hotel in the Old Town of Split. Pool small and cold but sunbeds round the pool were comfortable and usually in the sun. Ask for a room in the main hotel and not the annex

Just back from a great stay in Room 7 at the Hotel Agava. Great location and really lovely hotel with the added benefit of a swimming pool. The staff were always so helpful and the breakfasts were amazing (at a local restaurant on the Riva).

Was absolutely perfect for us as a base for Split Old Town. We had the perfect stay. Faultless.

Personalen va väldigt trevliga, hjälpsamma och tillmötesgående. Rummen va lite små, men fräscha och rena. Det städades varje dag. Vi saknade något att hänga blöta handdukar och badkläder på. Hotellet va nära shopping och restauranger, dock fick man promenera en bit till stranden. Vilket var överkomligt när det fanns pool på hotellet. Poolen va fräsch och fina solstolar. Det fanns även badhanddukar man fick låna vid poolen.

We stayed at Hotel Agava for a week recently during August. We chose this hotel for its ideal location as it is walkable to the main Old Town of Split and because it also has a swimming pool. We opted for the breakfast included option that was at a nearby restaurant/cafe called Brasserie on 7, which provided a good variety of breakfast options on the menu and was a very good and new experience for us with good food and friendly staff. Our room was on the ground floor and right next to the pool, which was requested due to the other member of my party's mobility issues and was facilitated by the hotel staff in advance. The staff at the hotel were all lovely, very friendly and helped with any questions we had. Our only criticism/recommendation was that another mirror with lighting was needed in the main bedroom above the desk/dressing table. Also as our room was next to the pool (room 8), we didn't have any personal/private outdoor space to be able to dry swimsuits and towels and there was no drying rack in our bathroom. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hotel Agava and would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to others visiting Split.

The hotel is lovely and the staff could not have been more helpful or friendly. It's location in the old town is unique and beautiful. It is ideally situated for visiting Split and is an easy walk from all the main sites. The pool was lovely. The room itself was clean and comfortable, though the cot bed was not as comfortable as might have been wished, but it was adequate. I would definitely stay here again on my next trip.
