The owners, an elderly couple, were overly friendly and most importantly, we ordered dinner and it was so delicious. We had no trouble finding the place because we rented it, and it was so clean and friendly. It's a shame we only stayed for one night, because we wanted to get up in the morning and walk around, but the weather prevented us from doing so. The place is very clean and pretty, and the kindness of the owners is impressive.

This place is amazing but what makes it really special is the lovely couple that own it. They make you feel so welcome and it feels like they are friends welcoming you into their home. The food is also amazing. Make sure you make dinner reservations and enjoy. You wont be disappointed.

Tesla’s accommodations were absolutely stunning—set on a picturesque hillside with charming, clean, and beautifully decorated spaces. The rooms were lovely: spacious, spotless, and thoughtfully designed. The common areas where breakfast, lunch, and drinks were served were equally inviting, with cozy decor and great outdoor seating perfect for relaxing, playing games, or simply enjoying the view. The spa was a highlight, featuring a hot tub, sauna, and large garage doors that opened to breathtaking scenery. The owners, Visnja and Davorin, were truly wonderful—some of the kindest and most welcoming hosts we’ve ever met. Visnja’s cooking was phenomenal; we had both dinner and breakfast there and were blown away by the quality, service, and warmth they provided. I highly recommend staying here—especially if you’re visiting Plitvice National Park. It’s a beautiful, unforgettable day trip, and this accommodation makes the perfect home base.

Tesla’s Gastro House is a beautiful place! Like new accommodations and amazing hosts. Beautiful property, very close to Plitvice National Park. Four course dinner and very nice breakfast were homemade and delicious. Many extra touches and the hosts go above and beyond to make guests feel welcome. Highly recommend!

It was ok experience for the money, but their breakfast and dinner offer was very pricy for the food served. 16euro for the breakfast and 37euro for dinner. Breakfast was basically from packaged foods and dinner was similar way. Not from scratch home made meal. We wanted to experience the local home made food. It said 4 course dinner meal, but it was not worth.

Staying at Tesla’s was a dream for us! We were greeted by the owners with a very warm welcome making us feel right at home from the first moment. Their hospitality was generous throughout our entire stay, they were very helpful with providing info for the park as well as making sure we had all the comforts you could desire during your stay. The property is beautiful, and there are many spaces for peace and relaxation including outdoor sitting areas, sauna and hot tub. They also have a full bar and kitchen/dining space. You should definitely take advantage of choosing the meal package as the food was excellent; wholesome freshly homemade top quality food served with a smile. Much better than most restaurants around. The hosts make this place truly 5 star, you will not regret choosing Tesla’s Gastro!

The hosts were very wonderful. Dinner was excellent. The location was great. They also had a hot tub. They also had a small bar with great wine and mixed spirits.

If you are going to visit Plitvice, this is THE place to stay. Period. The owners of this charming property are TRUE hoteliers that are impossible to find anymore. They actually care and take PRIDE in all they do. They dont just show up, they are there to make your stay perfect. MUST DO TIP: They offer a meal service for dinner that I HIGHLY recommend. It is not just a meal. This is an experience. A well done, home made 4 course meal and they have a professionally stocked craft bar as well that is hardly mentioned. (They do request cash for the meal service) They are eager to mix up any cocktail you dream up. The meal actually rivaled any I had in all the major cities in Croatia - and I only travel 5⭐️. Bear in mind that there is relatively NOTHING around Plitvice so if you dont opt for the meal - you are likely on your own. Yes the rooms feature a modern and clean kitchen but why in the hell would you do that when you have the amazing meal offered downstairs???? AC was amazing, Netflix was available as well as other streaming services for a nice movie. Spotlessly clean and also used the jacuzzi and sauna after my day. Can’t say enough. Im 6’2” and the bed was super comfy. You have found a gem.

It is close to the entrance 2 to the Plitvice national park. The owner couple was very friendly and it was nice to chat with them. If you want, you can get dinner and breakfast at extra costs. The owner lady cooked everything herself and it was exceptional. The dinner consists of a starter, a soup, a main dish and a desert. Everything tasted great and you can enjoy traditional Croatian dish from fresh local ingredients. For breakfast, there were a variety of things to choose. From fresh fruits to fresh-baked Croissants. She also prepared home-made marmalades. They also had a small hut next to the house, where they had a sauna and a jacuzzi. It was really relaxing to sit in the sauna after hours of hiking in the national park. We really enjoyed the stay at this place.

We had a lovely stay at Tesla’s and we felt as though we were guests in their home instead of a hotel. They thought of every possible detail to make our stay comfortable, the food was excellent, and they were perfect hosts. We would definitely be regular customers if we weren’t 9K miles away!

Clean bed and breakfast. Nice and accompdating hosts. Tiny bed, I am 6 foot 1 and struggled to sleep straight in the bed.
