The experience of dealing with the proprietor of this ‘hotel’ will go down as one of the most memorable fallacies I have experienced as a traveller. The address is very difficult to find, the hotel operator responded/replied to none of my communications ahead of check in. The location of this hotel is on the dodgier end of Ledras street. The entry/lobby is impossible to navigate. The street below is loud as. There is absolutely nothing worthwhile here. Book this location only if you want to be disappointed.

We was informed that there was 2nd room as we booked 2 rooms and we were sent to their second propoerty (ledras romos or something like that). They asked to pay less money (60euro) and they cancelled our booking at ledras 211. There was no towels and bed sheets in the room. They brought them at 22:00. When we asked them to return the funds so we leave, the responsible person said "1 moment I will be right back" and disappeared. We was waiting 20minutes called Expedia and left. He never came back.

The only thing that let it down was the noise till 2 a. From the cafe below

While the location is convient for walking, shopping, and exploring north and south Nicosia, it was not a place to relax in. While the room itself was reasonably clean it had a broken shower, only one light that worked and it sits over a very loud bar on a loud street. This building seems to be in a renovation mode and the smell is overpowering when you walk up the stairs. Not our best pick.

The place is very well located, the staff is nice and helpfull. The place in it self is old, with humidity and not really clean. The bed was really unconfortable and the pillows were disgusting. In what they call kitchen, you have no way to cook...

Even if the localisation is perfect and the price is acceptable, the appartment (this is not an hotel) is so bad maintained that I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

There is no hotel front desk, and we didnt have phone service, so we had to get somebody from a coffee shop to call the landlord for us. The landlord didnt have change either, so we overpaid, but the change was never given to us, even know he promised to slide it under the door. The apartment was nice and very roomy, the noise outside is very loud until 4am from the bars below... Construction then starts at 5:30am, so it made very noisy sleep! The WIFI gave out on us after the first day and it would not start again. I messaged the landlord from public wifi in Subway and he never got back to us for the rest of the stay. Kinda disappointing because it was a nice place.

OK, you get what you pay for but there is a minimum expectation. I didn't expect that much but I did expect hot water and I didn't expect live music from the bars below / opposite every night (Mon-Thur) until 0200. The "kitchenette" was at best adequate but so small the fridge-freezer had to be in the bedroom but the noise it made was drowned out by the music outside! The bed was comfortable and the sheets clean but the bathroom was a disaster. There is a weak electric shower but no hot water in the basin and no plug so you couldn't even use the kettle to wash in warm water. The water from the shower poured across the floor as the curtain was torn and inadequate and the extractor fan ran continuously, day and night. When we closed the door to keep out the noise it appeared to suck foul air up from the waste pipes and made the whole area stink. Finally, on our second day we returned to find someone had been in the room (not the cleaning staff as there aren't any) and removed the bedside lamp. I sent an email to the owners but received no reply. Losing the lamp was not a huge issue but knowing someone had been in your room unexpectedly was a little unnerving. It was cheap and fabulously located, the WiFi was free and reliable but I could have paid a bit more, stayed a short distance away and had a good night's sleep and a wash in warm water! I will have to return to Nicosia a few more times this year but will not be returning to this accommodation.

The building is old and smelly ,don't know how they have approval to be able to rent rooms there.not clean at all.and in general everything there is super old or super cheap.i would never recommend it to anyone .To all fairness the location is great but if you return to the room at night and it smells bad who cares about the location

We had fantastic stay: warm welcome, central location, cool nightlife just around the corner and comfy bed :) Great value for money!
