Warm welcome and clean room for start!

Das Frühstücksbuffet war ausreichend und gut. Das Zimmer sehr sauber! Allerdings hatten wir ein Zimmer - no Balcony - kein Fenster (was so nicht stimmte - denn es gab ein nicht zu öffnendes Fenster in den geschlossenen Innenbereich). Ein derartiges Zimmer ist eines 4 Sterne Hotel`s nicht würdig - aber sie haben uns mit extrem hohen Upgrade-Kosten ein anderes Zimmer angeboten. Für diesen Preis hätte ich mit Sicherheit ein anderes Hotel - unmittelbar an der Promenade gebucht. 2 Nächte lang kam es zudem nach Mitternacht zu einer unnötigen Lärmbelästigung, die man nur im Innenbereich hören konnte und die angeblich von einem Nachtzusteller ausgelöst worden sein soll. Erst aufgrund unserer diesbezüglichen Beschwerde war es dann in den folgenden Nächten ruhig... Außerdem wurde über Expediabuchung versprochen, dass wir in der Unterkunft eine Flasche Sekt für den Aufenthalt bekommen würden - auf diese Flasche wurde offensichtlich vergessen... beim Auschecken wies ich darauf hin... Die Lage des Hotels ist etwas abseits, war aber okay!

Das Zimmer war geräumig und sehr gepflegt, dazu ein hübscher kleiner Balkon. In den Schränken war ausreichend Platz für viel Gepäck, auch gibt es genug Ablageflächen. Das Frühstück hatte viel Auswahl für jeden Geschmack; hier hätte ich mir nur echten Orangensaft anstelle eines Instantgetränks gewünscht. Das Personal war stets freundlich und zuvorkommend. Kleiner Praxistipp: unbedingt einen Reiseadapter für britische Stromanschlüsse mitnehmen. Auf den Zimmern gibt es zwar viele USB-A-Anschlüsse zum Aufladen von Gadgets, aber zB für eine elektrische Zahnbürste hat man ja klassischerweise etwas mit Eurostecker. Und den sollte man nie direkt in eine britische Dose stecken. Die Lage des Hotels ist insgesamt sehr praktisch, man ist fußläufig bei den Top Highlights zB der St. Lazarus Kirche und hat Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in der Nähe. Für einen Städtetrip also ideal!

Dåligt utbud och uselt stekt bacon

Sehr gute Lage in Larnaka - es ist alles zu Fuß erreichbar. Sauberes Hotel, sehr nettes Personal, ausßergewöhnlich gesundes Frühstück mit vielen lokalen Spezialitäten und eine tolle SPA-Betreiberin.

Das Personal war sehr freundlich und jederzeit hilfsbereit. Der Pool in der 5. Etage ist zwar klein aber fein. Wir hatten ein Zimmer ohne Fenster und ohne Balkon. Ausstattung war in Ordnung. Leider waren die Bettlaken etwas dreckig. Ansonsten absolut solides Hotel in Top Lage.

Be very careful when booking a room at this hotel. It's easy to miss or misunderstand that their lowest priced room has no external facing windows and no natural light which make staying there a challenge if you are claustrophobic. When I asked to change room they said the hotel was full so I couldn't change the room until the following day even though I'm an Expedia VIP member. Instead I had to book a room at Les Palmiers Beach hotel, a nice hotel close to the ocean. The upgrade (for the following day) that they offered me was their loft room but instead of honouring the VIP membership they charged me an additional €50! When I asked why they said the upgrade came with access to their private lounge. So the following day I checked in at 6:30pm only to be told the lounge shuts at 7pm so I didn't even get the added "benefit". What I will say is all the staff were nice and friendly but without doubt this is the single worst experience I have had in my 40 years of travelling around the world. The hotel is ok but nothing special, the area is awful with road repairs and derelict buildings and BEWARE of the room with no windows!

The staff was helpful and accommodating, able to confirm the bed arrangements in the room in advance despite having a policy of not doing that. The hotel is quiet, tidy and clean, centrally located and very close to the beach, bus station and city centre. The cleaners should have made an effort and clean the room or change the towels during our 3 days of stay however the overall experience is very positive.
