Excellent host and service.

The hotel is close to the castle. Breakfast was good. The higher priced level room was very small with a low height bed and little space to move around the bed. Many many short flights of steps in the lodging area with more than 30 steps up to the swimming pool. Not ideal.

The staff were very kind and accommodating

Hôtel très agréable dans le style du chateau Karlstejn. Personnel très agréable et très attentif. Seul petit bémol les difficultés de stationnement surtout quand il pleut mais c'est mineur à côté de la qualité de l'hôtel!

Posto carino, un po' scomodo da soggiornare se vuoi andare a visitare Praga. Nei dintorni c'è poco o niente . Colazione accettabile. Metterei il docciaschiuma nella doccia.

Sehr gutes Viersternehotel. Zentrale Lage direkt am Fuße Burg. Leider keine Abendessen Möglichkeit. Frühstück hervorragend.

One night stay, room was ready early. Walked up to Karlstejn castle for the afternoon. We just made it to a restaurant before closing. Town is very quiet on Sunday evenings. Some rooms have views of the castle, ours didn’t. Nice breakfast in cafe downstairs.

Jättemysigt hotell med bra service

Stay was great and the area is very relaxed with long walking trails with good views. The hotel pool is really nice. The most I liked was the hospitality and friendliness of the hotel staff. I immediately felt part of the village.

Beautiful views of Karlstejn Castle from the pool. Good breakfast with both hot and cold options.

Das Hotel war stilvoll eingerichtet, die Lage am Fuß der Burg Karlštejn genial. Service und Frühstück waren super! Aber trotz des hohen Preises leider keinen Blick auf die Burg, da das Fenster nach hinten rausging. Die Zimmer waren düster, klein und altmodisch. Und das Hotel war UNGLAUBLICH hellhörig. Da die Betten direkt entlang der Wand zum Nachbarzimmer standen, hatte man das Gefühl, direkt dort im Zimmer zu sein (besonders beim Duschen, Haare föhnen, lautem Singen).

We stayed at hotel Karlstejn for one night in July and regretted that we did not reserved 2 nights! We were very friendly received at the reception, welcomed by local drink and kids by sweets. All staff were really friendly and welcoming. The roof-top pool was really nice when temperatures reached over 30c! The scenery at the pool was amazing with the view of the castle - magical. Aperol spritz was also nice and refreshing! The only downside was that the room did not have aircondition. I would highly recommend this cute hotel with a perfect pool, amazing scenery and friendly staff! We would be returning again and more than one night!

Une belle vue mais rien d'un 4 étoiles, la chambre était très petite, la salle de bains surrannée et le lit d'un confort moyen. La vue mise en avant est prise de la piscine qui est sur une partie très surélevée du jardin, le reste de l'hôtel est dans une petite rue commerçante. Le petit déjeuner est de qualité très moyenne et pris dans un bar après traversée d'une boutique de souvenirs ! L'accès depuis la route est très mal indiqué. Le prix est est excessif et dû à sa seule position proche du château. Le personnel parle difficilement anglais !

Bel accueil. Petite chambre correct, mais sans air climatisée. Proche du château à pied et stationnement disponible.

The location was beautiful, the pool looking out at the castle was beyond amazing. The room was a little small but was perfect for our party of 4. The Breakfast Buffet was wonderful we enjoyed the food lots of selections. Staff was kind friendly and helpful. We will defiantly be back for a visit.

Having the pool above hotel with scenic view of the castle. Very quiet location. Easy access to castle. Closeto restaurants open during day (as castle is open).
