It was an exceptional stay

Service was not good. Room was dirty when we did check in , ac doesn't work properly . Alcohol not good. Price for trip expensive .

Loved the property and it's amenities. Staff is wonderful and kind. Food wasn't outstanding but always solid options which met our expectations for an AI Resort.

First of all I want to thank all people who work at Hilton La Romana! For the great service and the smiles they sharing with us during the whole time of our staying. Front desk service was always ready to help. We appreciate clean property

Everything was great except on more than one occasion there was no soap or hand sanitizer in the bathroom at the family side buffet.

We enjoyed the privacy and cleanliness of the property, most of the dinning experiences were great, with the Spice Market" being very impressive for a buffet. The "exclusive" Grill Restaurant for VIP guests we disappointing. However many of the other restaurants were great. For the most part the staff was very friendly, we will go back.

Resort fantastico, abbiamo viaggiato con un bimbo di 2 anni ed è stato tutto perfetto. Personale estremamente gentile e disponibile, pulizia ottima e buon cibo. La struttura è molto bella e ben organizzata e la spiaggia è stupenda. Assolutamente consigliato!

El personal en su mayoria muy amables. El area para niños las actividades, su personal son excelentes. La comida divina. Me encanto. Ya estoy haciendo planes para regresar

Out of 5 days we were staying at the resort, we had problems on all 5. We encountered a broken AC; water leak (formed a large puddle on a floor and got my stuff wet); on days 3-5 we had ant infestation that began with hundreds of ants crawling around. The staff fumigated the room twice per my request, which reduced the number of ants (although did not eliminate them), but also caused a persistent annoying smell that forced us to stay out of the room as much as we could for 2 days. About half of the high-chairs in the buffet was broken (missing the central strap, so the kid could easily slip out and fall). I was extremely disappointed by the quality of my stay, and the management didn't do much besides "we are sorry you were not satisfied"

Pontos positivos: estrutura do hotel, instalações e praia. Tudo lindo e maravilhoso. Academia ótima. Camareiras excelentes. O lado adulto é ótimo. Pontos negativos: atendimento do buffet demorado e funcionários que servem a comida mau humorados. Sem atenção com o que pedimos. Demoram. Bebida leva uma vida pra chegar./ Enorme dificuldade em encontrar uma cadeira na praia ou na piscina./ O hotel cobra 120US$ pra utilizar as camas bangalô da piscina. Ficam vazias e os hóspedes sem cadeira pra sentar. Pedimos ajuda ao funcionário e nos deu 2 cadeiras super distantes da piscina para nossa família de 6./ comida em geral não é ruim mas também não eh ótima./ Não há lixeiras pelo hotel./ atendimento dos bares da praia e piscina desorganizados e superrrr lentos. Deveriam ter águas, refrigerante e outras bebidas no gelo e livre para os clientes que os desejam não precisarem entrar na fila dos drinks. Os funcionários pouco interessados em agilizar o atendimento e ficam conversando entre si, lavando a bancada ao invés de atender. Uma pena, pois o hotel em si é muito bonito.

Estuvimos tan bien que alargamos un día más.Destaco la limpieza de la habitación que siempre nos la dejaban de forma impecable. Gracias de nuevo a todo el equipo, especialmente a Michael y Alejandrina.

“Bienvenidos al Paraíso”, así es como nos recibieron y así es como nos sentimos. Una vacaciones familiares inolvidables que seguro repetiremos. Las instalaciones están genial, hay mucha variedad de opciones para comer (merece la pena la zona enclave) y beber (marcas premium), la playa a pie del hotel es una preciosidad, el parque acuático muy divertido pero sobre todo destacó a todo el personal ya que nos sentimos súper atendidos con una sonrisa siempre en la cara. A destacar Michael (enclave), Alejandrina (animación) y Vivi de la excursión a Isla Saona con Scuba Caribe (muy recomendable). Gracias a todo el equipo y esperamos volver pronto.

Beautiful grounds, beautiful rooms, amazing location. The accompanying butler service that comes with enclave family suite counts for 1 star by itself. However, the service was mostly dismal. 9 out of the 10 service staff we interacted with just weren't motivated. Hard to get beverages at the buffet, no one stops by to check in. Service was slow and a couple of occasions, order were forgotten. The food was lacklustre. Most were underseasoned, while some were oversalted. There are not enough restaurant options available for families. 5 of the hotel's 11 restaurants are available for family only, while 6 are exlusively adult only. Many of the adults come over to family to eat but not vice versa. Peak dinner time waits sometimes were over an hour. And a dinner can take up to 1.5 hours even though the restaurant is not full (goes back to slow service). Kids club was a joke. A few very old and broken toys. Activities schedule were often mismatched from what was published online. Probably not going back again.

Beautiful property with nice dining options and plenty to do for a family with young children. Everything was super clean and the staff was very kind and helpful. We were happy with most of the food options (would not recommend the rib eye at The Grill, it was thin, dry and hard to eat). We did the Enclave upgrade which I felt was worth it for the addituonal meal options. We used the main pool most of the time though because it was better for our kids who are still young. Also the Enclave rooms are by where they have weddings and events, so Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights were quite loud until about 10pm or so...at least that was our experience so maybe inquire with the property about room location if that would bother you. Overall we really enjoyed our stay. The resort is beautiful and everyone who works there is so friendly and ready to help, they were all great!

the staff was amazing. Antonio our butler was so much more than we expected. The enclave area was well worth the additional cost. Food was great!!

Beautiful property! Attentive staff

We stayed here for 6 nights across in December 2024 and had a wonderful time. The most impressive thing was the grounds. They were beautifully kept with gorgeous trees and vegetation. The pools were large with plenty of space and the water park was a big hit with our kids. The beach was lovely too, and having all these different areas to visit each day meant our 6 and 9 year olds were happy and entertained. The staff were lovely too. The only thing I think could be improved was the food. We tried a couple of the restaurants but you can't make reservations so this meant waiting behind 7-10 other families which didn't really work with hungry, impatient kids! Also the food in the restaurants didn't appear to be a better quality than the buffet (I had a pasta dish in the Italian restaurant where the prawns were a strange texture and definitely weren't fresh), so we stuck to the buffet after that to make the most of having a wider choice. It was also a shame that menus at the restaurants were via a QR code - I like to leave my phone in the room on holiday. Overall we had a great time and I would recommend for families!
