Really enjoyed the quietness of the hotel. The breakfast has good options depending on your taste. The bedroom is quite large and the bed is comfortable. Staff were helpful. And the beach is less than 5min walk from the hotel.

Staff was super sweet and fun ! Villas were very clean and the common areas were very well kept, felt like a little paradise. The pool is salt water and is available for use 24hrs. They also have gazebo space for yoga and group classes. Meals cooked by staff were great. Walking distance from the beach and other restaurants. Shoutout to Yakeuiris and Yokaira !!!

I've already requested a refund and am waiting for the email with my case number. We couldn't stay there, and we had to find a better place during a busy weekend and pay a lot of money. I arrived with my 85-year-old mother & my three kids, and the place didn't live up to the expectations set by the website pictures. There is no beach in front of the hotel. The pool & facilities are tiny. The place is hard to find because it is on a small street. The bedrooms are clean, but they're not as big as they look in the pictures. It is an uncomfortable, depressing place. I really appreciate the refund to compensate for the money I had to spend on another place.

Great location, welcoming staff

I would like to request a refund. The service was horrible. The check in process took a hour because they seemed understaff and the man who was trying to help us had no idea what he was doing because he was just security. Our door wouldn’t lock and I felt very unsafe and barely slept. The roaches were everywhere in the bathroom. Very unpleasant experience overall !

The air conditioner unit wasn't proper fot the size off villa. The room was hot. The emergency electric generator didn't work and it was in very poor conditions.

Personal, weather, food , place everything was amazing , The reason for our trip was for my birthday and all the staff, including the owner and manager Betania, made me feel welcome and like family. I recommend it 100%.

We were very pleased with our stay at Hotel La Tortuga. The service was excellent. We were greeted with a delicious fruit juice. We arrived at the hotel at 2:00 p.m., and they let us check in anyway. We loved the breakfast; you can choose between eggs or pancakes. It includes a fruit cocktail, natural juice, coffee, and bread. There are a wide variety of restaurants and spectacular beaches around Las Terrenas. I recommend Punta Popi Beach... We would definitely stay here again.

The breakfast was so cute and cooked to order. Fresh fruit, omelette, and natural juices. The pool is open 24/4 and is great after a long day of adventures. The area is super walkable, I had a blast!

La Tortuga is an amazing place to relax! We booked here because we had booked a house in another town and our host canceled. We were so glad they did! We wished we could have stayed longer. The staff was amazing right from check-in, when we were welcomed with a drink (fresh fruit juice). The pool was very nice and located next to the very chic and very relaxed restaurant/bar (think lounge music and attentive but unobtrusive service). The beds were comfortable and the A/C worked well. The hotel is a short walk to the beach (~3-5 minutes) but set back enough that it’s quiet and peaceful; we fell asleep to the sound of frogs and never heard our neighbors. The bungalow-style rooms feel secluded and private. We drove an out of the way of our original plan to stay here and did not have a ton of time, so we ate dinner on the beach and didn’t try the restaurant food. We did try the bar, which was excellent.
