The staff were excellent, friendly, fun and attentive. My only complaint is the cleanliness of the pool. The main pool was alway clean an crystal clear. However, the “lagoon” area around ours and all the other swim up suites desperately needed a good vacuuming. They are surrounded by lush tropical vegetation, no doubt difficult to maintain, but they really need a better solution.

We absolutely loved our stay at this hotel—it was perfect for the quiet vacation and downtime we were looking for. Our room, 5002 (the Master King Swim-Up Suite), had everything we needed: a spacious living area with a kitchenette, and a bedroom with essentially two bathrooms—each with its own vanity in separate areas. I tend to wake up earlier than my husband, so being able to close the bedroom door while I made coffee was a great touch. The room layout was incredibly convenient and thoughtfully designed. The food at the resort was pretty good overall, but the presentation was outstanding—every dish looked beautiful. While the hotel isn't directly on the beach, it's only a quick 2-minute ride down by cart. The beach itself was stunning, and the beach restaurant was a highlight. The food there was decent, and while the service could have been better, we really appreciated how peaceful and quiet it was. We also ventured out to a restaurant called Jellyfish and ended up going twice—it was absolutely worth the extra money for a nicer dinner experience. A quick tip: bring some cash for tipping. You tend to get slightly better service when you tip a few dollars here and there. Overall, this resort was a wonderful spot for a relaxing getaway, and we’d definitely consider coming back.

My first and last visit to the Mediterranean resort Zel only in name. The staff was downright terrible lack of professionalism. The food in the buffet was downright terrible, and after four days the buffet did not serve meals for unknown reasons, the music as befits a "Mediterranean resort" was very loud and also rap, several requests not so much to change the music to Caribbean music but at least to make it quieter, nothing helped, I must say that the resorts next door were completely different, subdued Caribbean music. Another issue was the lack of coffee, it was only served in one place in the lobby, which I read that coffee was supposed to be around every corner. And finally, our concierge Aurora is the pinnacle of everything, unprofessional and a liar. Mr. Nadal, with all due respect to you, but I will discourage everyone from staying at Żele. Loved it here! staff was great and the crowd was fun. food was really good but it did get a little repetitive when there are only 3 restaurants. we did have to take a golf cart to the beach which i didn’t mind at all but some people do. over all had a great stay and would go back.

Zel Punta Cana is visually stunning, with stylish design and lovely pools. If you stay, go for a ground-floor swim-up room in the 5000–7000 block that connects to the main pool. Unfortunately, service at the swim-up bar was poor - we gave up twice after waiting over 15 minutes. Ordering a drink felt like an inconvenience to the staff. The vibe changed constantly - sometimes calm, sometimes blasting dance music. Asking to lower the volume was met with, “Sorry, we can’t.” Food was a major letdown: bland, repetitive, and poorly timed. Only one restaurant was open during the day, and dinner alternated between the buffet and one other venue. By day two, we were bored with the menu. The resort was quiet but oversaturated with staff constantly trying to sell spa treatments or excursions. We asked for a list of activities four times before finally getting it on day five - too late. A “free welcome gift” came with strings attached: a short meeting turned into hours of pressure to join a vacation club. Despite informing them this was our honeymoon, there was no real acknowledgement. A special dinner was cancelled due to weather and not rescheduled. No one in management was accessible - just endless WhatsApp handoffs. This was not the luxury experience we were sold.

I had a fantastic stay at Zel Hotel! From the moment we arrived, the staff was attentive and welcoming. The room was spacious and clean. The hotel offers a variety of dining options, including a steakhouse, a sushi/teppanyaki restaurant, a Mexican spot, and the beach club. The food was generally good, though after a week, the options felt a bit limited. The hotel did a great job accommodating my food allergies, which was a huge plus. One of the highlights was the coffee station at reception. Having fresh espresso every morning was a great way to start the day before heading out. I also played at the Cocotal Golf Course, which was fun but not the most challenging course. The all-inclusive experience was top-notch, with a great selection of drinks and plenty of activities to keep us entertained. A special mention to Wascar, the concierge, who helped us plan daily activities and offered great recommendations. Overall, I would definitely recommend Zel Hotel for its excellent service, good food, and relaxing atmosphere. I would love to return in the future.

Restaurante Parda Francisco Díaz y Leticia Martínez tienen una calidad de servicio 1A, atención y amabilidad de primera, siempre dispuestos y pendiente de nosotros. Restaurante Nokkyo Luis Suzuki, presenta un buen show y prepara platos deliciosos. La única queja durante la estadía fue en la habitación, la nevera nunca enfrió, a pesar de reportar varias veces para que fueran a revisar, nunca pasó. En otro orden, el lugar, las atenciones del personal, la tranquilidad, amabilidad y buena comida sin duda regresé nuevamente.

we stayed for 8 days and let me tell you, I would go back tomorrow if I could and stay at this same resort again regardless of the many options you have on the island. The food was so delicious and there are many options for dining. The resort is incredibly clean!!!! All the trees and flowers were absolutely gorgeous. The shuttle is nice to and from the beach. Like I said the whole resort was manicured to perfection! The nightlife is fun as well and the staff ensured you had a great night! All of the staff literally treated you like a member of their own family. Not one single staff member made me feel anything but welcomed and loved. I felt incredibly safe staying at the resort. The security make absolute sure that you were in safe hands while on the property and even at the beach. I love each and every one of you and I will be back next year! Thank you all sooo much for an unforgettable vacation. YOU ALL ARE THE BOSS ❤️❤️

Beautiful and quiet Hotel , very small but Rooms were stunning! Outdoor incredible beautiful, have to take a ride to go to the beach or if prefer a long walk , not entertainment at all , Good for resting, meditation or just full relaxing time .,,. Buffet very limited options the Steak House restaurant 5/5 excellent, Mexican Restaurant don’t like anything there besides the service. I won’t be back there but I will definitely recommend it for a very relaxing vacation.

Everything was great - service was also good - wish there was more restaurants, and the ones that are available aren’t open all the time. - the buffets should have more options, they basically serve the same thing everyday. Wish they had an option for something authentic rather than having food we get in the states.
