Great hotel. Probably the best in Quito.

An excellent hotel for our family. Very good breakfast. Good staff. Quiet and large room.

Location, service and the rooms.

The Casa Gangotena was perfection! The hotel itself is beautiful and the staff was gracious and attentive. We stayed in a very comfortable, large room with a spectacular view of the Plaza de San Francisco. We enjoyed breakfast and a wonderful dinner at the hotel and loved that the menu included local cuisine. Plus, the prices were reasonable - we would have easily paid twice as much at home for a meal of the same caliber. You also shouldn't miss a late afternoon cocktail on the rooftop!

Wonderful historic property that has been updated and has both warmth and style. The staff pampered my family and introduced us to Ecuadorian new year traditions on the rooftop terrace with the other guests that was a memorable and unexpected way to ring in the new year. The restaurant is a fabulous showcase of Ecuadorian cuisine and excellent cocktails and fine wine. First class in every respect. I recommend without reservation.

Very nice 👌 Excllent breakfasts! And they provided bottled and distilled water for my CPAP machine. Also Concierge Desk provided assistance with tours and dining

Significant leaking in the room on our final day.

The Hotel is beautiful, the food was superb, the service was also top notch, their version of a mojito was one of the best I've had ,their breakfast buffet is nice too. The location is awesome, steps from the San Francisco Church and museum.

Gorgeous power, beautiful rooms. Charges for additional water above the small 2 bottles provided daily, which is laughable considering the cost of the hotel room. Breakfast was fabulous.

I loved everything about this property. The personalized touches, safety, spa, afternoon, tea, absolute, beautiful gardens, and architecture. The views were outstanding. If I could, I would live there.

Great Hotel

The hotel is in the heart of the old year. It should be noted very friendly and professional staff. There is a beautiful terrace on the 3rd floor with an amazing view of the old town. Of particular note is the highest quality massage in the spa.

This is a beautiful and historic hotel in the heart of downtown Quito. The staff was incredibly accommodating and made the entire experience elegant. It is on the Plaza San Francisco and is next to a beautiful cathedral. Just take into account extra time to get into and out of the area by car as the streets are very narrow and usually congested. Loved the property and would definitely come back. The best and most beautiful hotel in Quito!

La propiedad es lo máximo está en un lugar comodo para visitar el centro histórico. La llegada al hotel fue fácil, dejar el auto increíble vallet. El recibimiento muy cálido. El 🍹 de bien venida ideal después del viaje se 8 horas que habíamos hecho desde la selva. Las recepcionistas muy cordiales, nos ayudaron con todas las preguntas y direcciones. La decoración y los arreglos de toda la casa espectaculares!! Es un lugar muy exclusivo y lindo. Pero llegada la noche fue un verdadero infierno. Fuimos con dos niños pequeños 8-10 años lo que más queríamos es descansar. Desde las 8 pm hasta las 11 pm hubieron ruidos en el cuarto. Era como si movían los muebles o golpeaban las paredes por todos lados. Entonces llamamos a recepción. La recepcionista que nos visitó dijo que en 15 minutos nos iban a cambiar de cuarto. Ella escuchó el desastre también. Paso el tiempo nosotros muy pacientes esperamos hasta las 10:30 entonces llamamos otra vez y recién a las 11:30 nos estaban cambiando. Los sonidos provenían de la cocina, y cuando nos estaban cambiando de cuarto pasaron algunos meseros empujando carritos de servicio con vajilla. Pésimo servicio si el hotel ya sabía que era!! debieron no asignarnos ese cuarto o cambiarnos enseguida. Al día siguiente solo nos dijeron lo sentimos. El servicio por el que pagamos ni valió la pena. Hotel muy lindo que no sirve para descansar. El centro histórico formidable regresaremos mil veces es hermoso.
