La comida y la atención es muy buena! Las habitaciones muy bonitas y limpias. La temperatura de las chimeneas dentro de las habitaciones es muy rica porque se vuelven calientitas en la noche. La experiencia con los caballos al rededor del Lodge es muy bonita, el señor muy atento.

El check out es demasiado temprano 11am. Deberían asesorarte con anticipación para poder reservar actividades para realizar en los alrededores. Muy poca guía del personal del hotel.

Excelente opción para descanso lejos del ruido de la ciudad

Beautiful lodge near Cotopaxi. We loved our small wood fireplace in the room. A young gentleman would come to set up the fire everyday. The unplanned highlight of the stay was actually a “stray“ dog. According to the receptionist, the dog does not belong to the lodge but shows up on the lodge property frequently. The dog was there when we checked in. She (we think it’s a girl) somehow indicated to us to follow her. We had no activity planned, so we walked with her. For one hour, the dog led our mini hike and she sure knew the way well in that area. She was so intelligent, peaceful yet playful. It was an amazing experience. Our day and that walk would’ve been boring if the dog weren’t there. My partner was not a fan of dog but still fell deeply in love with her. Seemed other guests, especially solo ones, liked her company too. Staff was all very kind and helpful. Horseriding in the national park was very beautiful, but previous riding experience highly recommended. Lunch menu was a bit too simple. Real empanadas would be a good idea to add on the menu. Like mentioned above, there aren’t much to do in the lodge, especially when the weather was bad. Extra activity would be nice: such as walk with the lodge dog :)

Excelente servicio, todo impecable!

Very quiet place with great service. The road to get there is not easy! But overall it helped our family relax with a fire place and great accommodation. Strongly recommended as in Ecuador the standards are not always consistent.

The hotel is a little bit challenging to reach. If you don't have an organized transportation, you should rent a SUV, since roads are partly really bumpy. But the place and the hotel are great. It is really quite and cosy. We had a fire place in our room. The food is good. And just after moving to another hotel not to far away we realized how great Chilcabamba was. We would like to come back immediately. We will miss it. So, if you need a nice place to disconnect from the was was world, Chilcabamba could be a good option for you.

We spent two lovely nights at Chilcabamba. It's modern and comfortable, but also has character. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The lodge is in a spectacular setting in the countryside, with direct views of Cotopaxi but also another volcano, Pasochoa. Because of the altitude, the Cotopaxi area gets cool at night but the rooms have wood-burning stoves so stay warm. Chilcabamba also has a nice restaurant and comfortable lounge. Overall a lovely refuge on the fringes of the Cotapaxi national park. We hope to go back.

What a gorgeous property and beautiful room. The food was delicious and the staff is super friendly and accommodating.

The stay at the lodge was out of this world. The staff are amazing and care for every need. Couldn’t fault a single thing! Food and drink was exceptional too! And the location is to be seen with your own eyes! Nothing can compare !

Superbe séjour fortement recommandé, autant pour la vue que pour le service à la fois professionnel et amical sur place. Nous avons adoré y passer deux nuits en famille et avons pleinement profité des activités sur place: pêche, balade à cheval dans le parc Cotopaxi ( à ne pas manquer), feu de camp avec smores, etc. Le lieu est isolé et l'accès n'est pas aisé sans un véhicule assez haut, mais ça garantie la quiétude et une superbe vue sur le volcan. Repas de qualité, mais assez chers pour le pays. Nous y retournerons sans hésitation!

Amazing staff, food, view of cotopaxi, fireplace My only feedback is investing in having quieter rooms because i can still hear others. Also, have more signs in the park to make it easier to find the hotel
