Breakfast was delicious (fruit, scrambled eggs, bread, cheese, coffee, juice). The owners were very friendly and accommodating (we checked in a bit early and they let us go in since the room was ready). Location is wonderful since it is a walking distance from great restaurants, bakery and downtown. All great!

We would highly recommend staying here for many reasons. Breakfast each morning was super fresh and consisted of fruit, juice, bread, eggs cooked to order, coffee, yogurt, granola and jam. Fresh cheese from the island was also very good. Rooms were very clean, comfortable and quiet and the staff is very friendly and helpful. They helped us arrange 3 different tours which included pick up at the hotel which made everything easy and enjoyable. Laundry was also done for us at the going rate around town which was quite convenient. They also provided drop off and pick up from the airport. This is exactly what we hoped for during our stay.

I have so many great things to say about my stay! Our room was very clean and we received cleaning service whenever we wanted, we loved our cold AC and hot showers ! We enjoyed our breakfast buffet in the mornings and Dani and her family made us feel at home. We can’t wait to visit them again !

I stayed at this hotel for 7-days. The room I had (#3) was large, with its own small balcony. The bathroom was more than adequate. The hot water did take a little time to warmup, but hey, this is the Galapagos. The owner and his wife (and family as well) was always available for any questions that I had. Not everyone spoke English, but again, this is the Galápagos, immerse yourself in the culture and you will get along just fine. I will stay at this hotel again. With just a short walk to downtown, and many small food stores in the neighborhood, you can easily visit grocery stores for food. You may have heard that you need cash USD in the Galápagos, absolutely true! Cary cash everywhere you go, cash is king! Economical laundry services are also done at the hotel. Don’t let the area around the hotel scare you off, things are being built up and the immediate area is under a renovation of sorts. Get ready to say, Hola, 200 times a day, the people in the Galápagos are very friendly!

I had an amazing stay at this hotel! It really feels like a family-owned business, and everyone was incredibly kind to me from the moment I arrived. My room was spotless, the Wi-Fi worked perfectly, and the air conditioning was excellent. One morning, after a long walking tour to the volcano, I hurt my ankle. Even though I hadn’t booked the next tour directly with them, the owner went out of his way to arrange another trip for me so I wouldn’t have to walk again. They are clearly very well connected in the town, and you can easily book tours through them with full confidence. They even prepared a lunchbox for me for the excursion! Overall, I highly recommend this place. Wonderful people, great service, and truly exceptional hospitality.

朝食は温かい卵料理やハム、バナナやフレッシュジュースなど、パンの種類も毎日違っていました。ロビーにあるハンモックチェアに座ったら最後、そこから動けなくなるほど気持ち良かったです。また、ホテルでツアー申し込みができて、港まで無料のシャトルバスサービスがありました。ホテルは家族経営のようで、とてもアットホームな雰囲気でした。

Friendly staff who responded to issues immediately.

The owners were very friendly and welcoming. It appeared to be a family run establishment and they made sure we felt at home. Rooms are simple, clean and safe. A few blocks from the beach and close to all amenities.

Clean, safe, pleasant place with hot water, WiFi, and breakfast included. Short walk to the beaches and center of town. Perfect for what it is.

Wir hatten eine gute Zeit im Gran Hostal Tintorera. Das Zimmer war groß und wurde jeden Tag gereinigt, es gab warmes und sogar heißes Wasser zum Duschen und jeden Tag ein Frühstück. Die Besitzer waren sehr lieb, umsichtig und hilfsbereit.
