Amazing hotel, clean and beautiful. Special thanks for the attentive young man on reception. The hotel is close to everything, beautiful room and bathroom. Nice view of the pool. I enjoyed my drink on the rooftop at night as well.

Staff was great, breakfast was fantastic. Room was very big, modern, and comfortable. Nice patio.

Personal muy servicial y todos al tanto de nuestras solicitudes. Nos dieron desayunos para llevar cuando tuvimos tours muy temprano. Atendieron pronto cualquier detalle de la habitación. Su ubicación genial y nos dieron bicicletas para recorrer la zona.

The rooms are spacious and the hotel is centrally located. Puerto Ayora is a very pleasant place to visit. The Ikala hotel was a great base for an exciting zgalapagos adventure!

Nice clean hotel

This hotel is beautiful, it looks even better in person than it does in the pictures. Rooftop restaurant and downstairs pool area were especially nice. Great service in restaurant with excellent breakfast buffet. Huge bathroom and enormous bed. Staff went out of their way to provide me with hypoallergenic bed linens (no down/feathers). Nice toiletries. Wish the shower had better pressure and you could flush toilet paper but that's a problem everywhere on Santa Cruz, not specific to this hotel. Extremely close to the main strip of restaurants and bars and front desk staff gave us dining options upon request, including a map of the area. They arranged taxi service for us upon departure. Only stayed one night and really wish we had stayed longer. Only downside was the lack of soundproof rooms. Birds and fellow guests can be early risers and you will here them making noise quite early in the morning.

Centrally located with lots of choices to shop and eat. A block away from The Port and plenty of taxis available. The Staff was great and their breakfasts in the morning are incredible! WiFi was a little spotty but that’s the only thing I’d change. They even packed us little snack bags for our airport run!!

The hotel was in a good position, close to the town and the sea front. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the room was very big, as was the bed. However the rooms were very noisy, particularly very early in the morning with scraping of chairs, slamming of doors and people being noisy. The rooms could also do with a bit of maintenance in several areas. The shower was not particularly great and the dispensers for the toiletries were unattractive and didn’t really work. The breakfast was also pretty basic and didn’t really change much. All in all, although the hotel was good, I felt that it was very overpriced for what it offered.

Gutes und preiswertes Hotel auf Santa Cruz. Das Hotel liegt direkt in der Nähe vom Hafen und auch einem Supermarkt. Die Dachterasse ist sehr schön und dort wird auch das Frühstücksbuffet angeboten.

Para el precio creo que en Santa Cruz se puede obtener mejores hoteles. La habitacion se veia ya un poco vieja, pero bien mantenida. Definitivamente hay hoteles nuevos con mejor calidad de habitaciones por menor precio, por lo que considero que el hotel está sobrevalorado

Beds too hard

Great staff and location. Breakfasts were great with pretty views. We also really enjoyed dinner the night we ate there. The rooms were very spacious. Would highly recommend.

They forgot to pick me up , they apologized and thought by buying us one drink it would compensate the mistake , no gym , small pool .
