Fantastic 5 Star Hotel with friendly welcoming forthcoming staff. One feels right at home.

Super emplacement, quartier charmant et sécurisé. Beaucoup de restaurants pour tous les budgets et des boutiques plutôt à l'occidental. Galeries d'arts et bien entendu, vue sur le Nil .

It’s ok

first night was so noisy i didn’t sleep due to the night club downstairs. then the gave me another room higher up and it was good. the gym and sauna were great. breakfast was delicious. wifi was a bit weak.

Love this hotel. Great staff. Ahmed and Mohammed are so wonderful. Love the vibe of café on the front of the hotel, very trendy. Its in great neighborhood, very safe to walk around even at night. Very convenient, close to shops and many restaurants.

Breakfast needs to improve the quality and the choices All the staff and cleaners are ok but the reception person are not professional except one

Breakfast is lovely with many choi es. Staff very friendly and welcoming. My room was great with a beautiful balcony ovetlooking the Nile and very good amenities and very clean.

Didn’t accept the fact I am a newly married even with a proof of marriage

We loved staying at this hotel. In case you don't know, this used to be a house for a famous Egyptian singer (Om Kolthoom) from the 60s and got converted into a hotel. So, the whole hotel is themed around this singer (photos, decor, signage on doors, etc.). I loved that because I love this singer. It is in a great neighborhood (Zamalek), surrounded by embassies and luxurious old houses on the street behind. The location is also good because it is somewhat central and you can easily take a taxi/Uber to other locations in Cairo. The rooms and bathroom are spacious. The balcony is just beautiful with amazing views along the Nile river. The staff were very respectful and helpful. The breakfast had many varieties of food and service was excellent. On our last day, we needed to keep the room till 6 pm and they allowed us to do so (of course with an additional charge). Again, the staff are very helpful. I would definitely stay here again!

The hotel is a bit dated but staff service is excellent. Our family of 3 were allowed to check in early at 8 am and upgraded to a suite the next day. Breakfast is adequate with table service. The neighbourhood is safe with lots of restaurants.

Amazing staff, nice gym, and nice sauna. Great location also.

Allt var bra organiserat och servicen var utmärkt, men rumservice städar inte som de borde. De bäddar bara sängarna och låtsas inte se resten som behöver städas. Receptionens service var också fantastisk, särskilt Azedine.

NEED MAJOR RENOVATION

Staff there was polite and kind. The room is old but quiet and clean. We enjoyed breakfast there too. Simply we were happy there.

La primer habitación que me dieron estaba horrible, el piso roto, hongo en el baño, el baño roto,etc. Luego ya ,me dieron una habitación decente aunque el hotel está viejo y descuidado

Serviço bem prestado e localização excelente.

The kettle in the room was broken. I asked for a replacement and never got one. They do not leave a sheet with the extension numbers you might need. I got a hold of room service and asked for a copy of the menu, never got it. It was almost like they were hoping I’d forget I asked for things. Room service apparently also stops at 4 PM. The receptionists were unusually and irrationally hostile; they also kept repeatedly asking my friend and I what rooms we were in every time they would see us, like they were suspicious or something (we did not do anything suspicious). The bathroom had no hair dryer and no toothpaste or toothbrush like most hotels would have. The bathtub design was also really physically uncomfortable and I would have to lean back to even fit my body under the shower. The water flow was very weak and sporadic, but warm so that was something. It’s a beautiful historic hotel, the aesthetics are gorgeous and location is great. Unfortunately I felt like the service quality ruined that experience.
