반지하였어요. 냄새 걱정했는데 나진 않았구요. 좁긴 엄청 좁더라구요. 하지만 위치가 역주변이라 빅버스타고 다니기 좋았고 편리했어요.

Very great location and very reasonable price. But my room was close to street in lower level so it's quite noisy and the noise and vibration of the tubes in every some minutes.

No Elevator / No AC The biggest challenge was that there is no elevator, so be prepared to carry your luggage up multiple flights of narrow stairs. We were assigned a room on the 4th floor (attic level), which made arriving with suitcases quite difficult. The room itself was extremely small. There wasn’t enough floor space to even open our suitcase, so we had to place it on the bed every time we needed something. The biggest issue, however, was the lack of air conditioning. We happened to be in London during an unusually hot spell, and our attic room became unbearably warm. The hotel provided only a very small fan that barely moved any air, making it extremely difficult to sleep. We actually spent time looking for another hotel, but did not fin anything within the vicinity . Since we were only staying one night before continuing our trip, we ended up sticking it out—but it was a very uncomfortable night. The front desk staff were not rude, but they also weren’t particularly warm or welcoming. On the positive side, the hotel was very clean. The location is also excellent, just across the street from King’s Cross and St. Pancras stations, making it very convenient for travelers arriving by train or heading to the Eurostar. Overall, if you’re looking for a clean, budget-friendly hotel in a great location and don’t mind climbing several flights of stairs or staying in a very compact room, and no AC. This is for you.

Comfy beds. Very convenient location.

The location is excellent, with Kings Cross / St Pancras being only a 5 minute walk away. The staff is very friendly, and the property and rooms are clean and well maintained. The only slight drawback is that the bathroom sink is very small and there is no space for toiletries. But with so many other great things about the place, I plan to keep coming back.

The location was very convenient. The staff was attentive and friendly throughout our visit. The room was tiny and a bit old but overall we enjoyed our stay.

Know your strength before booking here. No lift, narrow stairs, constant fire doors, make getting bags to rooms a challenge. Checking in and out was fast and simple. Staff was helpful and knowledgeable. The Alhambra rooms are in two facing row houses. They're small -- tiny, actually -- but clean. It's all about location close to St. Pancras and King's Cross station.

I stayed at the Alhambra Hotel ten years ago and looked forward to a return visit. The rooms are just the right size for one person and the location is perfect for getting anywhere in London. Don't stay here if you are needing a large bed or lots of space. Do stay here if you want to support a small local hotel with lots of character.

Really well located property for travelling by tube around London. 3min walk from KingsCross/St Pancreas. Staff were lovely, room was spotless and a lovely touch, array of breakfast/drinks available in reception. Would definitely use again when next in London.

Kleines aber sehr sauberes Zimmer. Nettes Personal an der Rezeption. Perfekte Unterkunft für einen London Städtetrip aufgrund der Lage. Einzig das Fenster fand ich sehr schwierig zu öffnen und zu schließen und durch die belebte Umgebung ist es Nachts und Morgens teilweise etwas laut.

Building built in the 19th century and feels as such. No lift and narrow stairwell including to leave your bags checked at departure. No assistance from staff re bags. No AC on warmest days in the UK. Expedia very misleading about shared bathroom and shower and size of bed. Had to move to other room and pay an extra rate to upgrade both issues.

THERE IS NO AC. Even with cool weather the room and whole hotel has no ventilation. Even with the window wide open and the fan on it’s baking hot. Also the double beds are only a full bed, slightly bigger than a single and very short. The room basically has enough room to squeeze sideways around the bed to the shower. Fine if you get for a good deal but be prepared for what you get. It’s right across from Kings Cross /St Pancras station and very great access to the whole of London. If you need a cool might though you will not have it here. No other complaints, it’s basic but clean.

Great little stopover in the centre of London

The Alhambra was a sweet, clean, old school hotel on a quiet and charming block very close to King's Cross. The room and ensuite were clean, and under normal circumstances the room would have been fine for adult travelers with minimal luggage. We actually stored our large suitcases at King's Cross and we were so happy we did because it would have been impossible to navigate the tiny staircases with big suitcases, but that's frankly our issue and not the hotel's. However, we were at the Alhambra during the current heatwave in London and the room was so unbearably hot from the sun, lack of circulation, no ceiling fan, and one tiny, weak desk fan I was afraid we would have heat stroke in the room. It was dangerously hot. I know all of Europe is struggling with building design and new extreme heat, but the Alhambra needs to address this for travelers in the summer. Add a window aircon unit, a second more powerful fan, literally anything to address the heat issue before there is a serious health issue in the hotel.
