Fabulous hotel, immaculately clean and really friendly host. Very handy for the town center. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Anelli hotel - we’ll certainly be back soon!

From the moment arrived until I left the staff the service was impeccable and cant rate highly enough. The rooms are comfortable, clean and quiet. Obviously not all was perfect, signs of wear etc, but nothing that you wouldn't find in any establishment. 100% will stay again. Brilliant, sets a standard all should adhere too. Thank you so much for your hospitality.

For an extended or a brief stop in Southport, this hotel is an excellent choice. A few minutes from both the station and the coast, this gives you access to all the corners you are likely to want to visit in Southport. Great breakfast, too. Exquisite!

I can't speak highly enough of thi s hotel and bar. The owners were very friendly and helpful, the decor and comfort are excellent. We stayed in a family room, which is ,in fact, 2 bedrooms, and a bathroom. One room has a double bed, the other 2 singles. TV in both.Everything you could need is provided, and the bathroom is fabulous. Continental breakfast included too. We have already booked to return in a couple of months

Absolutely amazing stay at the Anelli hotel. A Fantastic host who allowed us to check in one hour early, booked us a table at an Italian restaurant and also allowed me to park my motorcycle on his property. Rooms a long with the bar were modern, clean & really comfortable. Would really recommend staying

Very friendly & clean

This is a lovely, independently owned hotel. I always book room 3 as it has a private, outdoor space. The air con is excellent. It’s nice and quiet and the staff are really lovely.

A lovely experience from start to finish. Lovely bedroom, perfectly cleaned and excellent continental breakfast. The Manager was extremely helpful and friendly.

We stayed here for 1 night and the hotel is beautiful. It was clean and the air con in the room was fantastic! Everyone at the hotel were very friendly and helpful, the garden terrace with the room looked magical lit up at night. The location is great just minutes walk away from everything, I would very highly recommend this hotel and the price was cheap compared to other places.

We were probably unlucky but our stay on Saturday July 19th wasn't great. 1. Check in was a bit stressful as reception was unmanned and we couldn't find any staff. We had to phone the hotel to find a nice lady to check us in! 2. She warned us they had a noisy party that night. It didn't bother us as we got back after 11 that night and only had noise till about 11.45. But it wasn't ideal and the warning came a bit late for us to be able to do anything! 3. The drain in our shower was smelly. As no-one was around to report it to I just dealt with it myself by chucking a couple of kettles of boiling water down. It seemed to do the trick. But it may well need a bit of attention. 4. Breakfast on Sunday morning was pretty grim. The man on duty was clearly fuming as staff hadn't turned up for work that morning. He made us feel a nuisance by daring to ask him for some toast and then some more coffee! But it wasn't our fault that - unlike most hotels - the Anneli didn't have a buffet help yourself system! We had to ask. We felt customers shouldn't have been punished because he was cross. Also the supermarket sort of bake your own croissants we were given seemed to take an age to prepare. Even then they weren't really properly cooked. To be fair ...after the late member of staff arrived... the grumpy breakfast man started trying to be a bit nicer. I think he may have realised he was wrong to make guests feel so unwelcome. But the whole thing wasn't great at all.

Booked last minute, on arrival there was an issue with the room which wss immediately dealt with and we were upgraded. Family business and they were very attentive and made us geel very welcome. Looks recently renovated and lovely. Would definitely recommend and definitely return.
