Loved this hotel. Located in the old town of Poole Quay. Lots of pubs and restaurants to choose from as well as the Antelope itself where we had a lovely lunch. Room was lovely. Bed was super comfortable. We stayed in room 8. Be aware this room had a bath but no shower. Room did not have aircon which we didn’t have an issue with as not sure the room ever got hot. Hotel did not have its own car park. There are two multi story 24/7 car parks both within a 3 minute walking distance. Note that one car park was a bit tight for a large vehicle but other one was no problem. Would like to mention the friendly bar lady (did not get her name but she was a senior lady the same as me) who could not do enough for us. We wished we’d booked for longer and will definitely be back.

A very nice hotel, lovely room at a very reasonable price. Good bar and lovely food also reasonably priced. Staff very friendly. Right next to the museum and around the corner from the quay with a short walk to Lighthouse arts centre.

Brilliant location for Poole Quay. Family room spacious, quiet and clean. Disappointing there was no view out of windows not even a glimpse as totally blocked by white permanent shuttering. I don't care if the view is not great but too see the sky would be good. I'm sure there is good reason why shuttered as doesn't make sense otherwise. If the room hadn't have been so spacious, we would have felt quite claustrophobic.
Staff very friendly. A warm welcome upon arrival and at breakfast. Cooked breakfast very good and my daughter really enjoyed the continental. Excellent choices especially all the fresh fruit. Nice coffee. This was our second stay at Antelope and will be back for a third.

Nice, older style hotel in great location near quayside. In pedestrian street so have to park elsewhere nearby and early morning noisy bin collections!! Didn't find a lift up to second floor! Really comfy beds

Straightforward pub accommodation in a textbook old coaching inn style property right in the centre of Poole.
It’s not the Ritz, but it’s all perfectly serviceable with friendly and helpful staff and a top breakfast as well that’s definitely worth adding to your booking.

Great staff and great location. Rooms are basic but clean and tidy. Breakfast is cooked to order and there is a continental choice as well. The restaurant for lunch and evening meals is busy and the food is good.

The food and the bar was really good.
The staff couldn’t have been more helpful and made our stay really welcoming.
They have managed to make the bar resteraunt and the bedroom we stayed very comfortable and bright but still holding on to the character of the building.
