Avisford Park Hotel

We booked 2 rooms, an accessible room and room with connecting room, no 8 & 6…. comfortable rooms with everything we needed. Lots of parking close by, great Full English breakfast and a super deal for our one night stay.

The room was a suite which was fine accept the bathroom was very tired and I would not let a room in this condition as it let the entire suite down

Lovely staff and place just shame as we went for treatments but was not open. Big disappointment as it was for my daughters 18th :(

Shower head was filthy and it was impossible to get a consistent temperature to actual shower. All the floor boards in the hallway were creaky so all throughout the night we could hear people walking through to their rooms, there was an event on and so the foot fall in the halls was higher than normal i suppose. The address link provided in the booking confirmation takes you about 1 mile away from the actual hotel. The rooms themselves were incredibly dated. And to top it off, the staff decided to start hoovering the corridors at 8:30am on a sunday morning.

Good breakfast and dogs can stay

For a suite it was disappointing. The bath in the bathroom was scratches and missing enamel, the boards around the basin were falling off and damaged, whilst everything in the room was unplugged and not ready to use. Plus points were the room size and comfiness of the bed. Disappointed that the TV are intentionally not connected to a network, so you can’t watch Netflix or amazon

Very poor service, No staff available on several occasions at reception, bar and restaurant, needed to shout to get a receptionist from the back office, I’m assuming he was having his dinner as he was still chewing as he checked us in, Room was small as was bathroom, but clean Restaurant was a disaster, we felt sorry for the waitresses Soup was cold and thick uneatable, my gammon was tough. Undercooked, We did see other tables also complained with regards food quality Lack of leadership very evident,cutting staffing is not the way to run a hotel

booked a superior room, little bit tired and 'cosy'. food good, staff polite and friendly, breakfasts excellent.

Lovely weekend away. The hotel is a little run down but still nice. Taxi into Arundel are expensive £16 one way.

Nice stay easy to book , all staff friendly and welcoming, attended to requests Breakfast ok, hot breakfast basic produce was bit cold, but good selection of pastries and hot and cold drinks

Very nice stay here at a gorgeous building. Friendly staff, immaculate grounds and very good facilities. We paid an excellent rate too and breakfast was nice and varied. We would stay again.

This hotel is huge. The main foyer is brand new and gorgeous with bar, restaurant and swimming facilities. The rest of the hotel is a bit older. The room is an okay place to stay. The sheets are clean and the bathroom usable. But the floors did feel perpetually dirty underfoot. It's worth the money to stay and I enjoyed the experience.

Had an overnight stay. Clean and comfortable. Quick check in and out. Beautiful Christmas decorations.

Whilst the buffet breakfast had an extensive choice it was a extortionate price and it felt a bit neglected! We paid the cheaper rate in advance and at £15.99 a head it was not good! £18+ if you paid daily rate 😳 Clearance of used plates was a bit slow, but the staff were all pleasant and helpful when asked for refills. Buffet scrambled eggs were not nice and fried eggs that had sat for ages did not appeal. We choose to eat other meals elsewhere as it was so pricey and not very appetising, if we were to spend that sort of money, I’d expect to feel we’d get great food freshly served and great waiter service and this did not feel available. Room was comfortable had a good TV, but it felt it needed an update. Some net curtains on a ground floor room would have been nice. We have stayed here before, when breakfast was included and eaten the bar food but then it was at a reasonable price. Feels as if it wants to be five star but needs to update rooms and restaurant before this can be achieved.

Room was good size, but bathroom dated/aged with signs of mould and needing repair. Sheets were dirty (looked like a foot print) but overall good value for money. Rooms could be better insulated as can hear everyone going down the corridor and they didn’t seem considerate of others
