The sofa is horrendous it’s a bean bag sofa very low to the floor and ridiculous for 6 people! The stairs leading down to the room are very steep. There are no windows at all so very stuffy. The cleanliness wasn’t great as alot of dust.

Great location near the beach. Enough space for 5 adults and 1 child. We were in the basement room, stairs are scaring. Rest was well decorated. Toilett was dirty and aging.

Great property location, very clean comfortable room, easy access.

Not the cleanest place. When we checked in to our room there were sequins and pastry crumbs on the floor, and the bathroom door handle was sticky. There was also black mildew on the shower ceiling, and the sink and cabinet needed some repairs. Aside from this, the room was a good size, the bed was large and comfy, the room was warm, dark, and quiet enough, and the hotel provided an eye mask and ear plugs each just in case, which was a nice touch. Self check-in was smooth and easy, and they hotel was in a good location, although the cheapest parking near by was a crazy £28 per day. We'd try elsewhere first, but would stay again if we couldn't find anything else in the price range.

It’s comfortable, safe and clean. it’s small room. In room has microwave and few utensils. The room is excellent. It’s surrounding by 3 pubs, so it’s loud noise at night but they gave the earplug for us, it’s helpful😊.

The overall room was lovely and cozy. However, the room was very noisy during the night and early evening from exterior of the property. Although we were provided with earplugs which added to the good quality of facilities.

Perfect location, close to everything in the city. Loved having a coffee machine and kettle in the room. Easy check in, good communication. Would stay again.

Blok-74 was an ideal weekend stay for us. The hotel itself is just off the seafront and within walking distance of everywhere you’d be likely to go in Brighton. Self check in was easy, our code was texted over the day before along with our welcome pack. The room itself was great. It was a perfect base for what we had planned for the weekend. The decor was lush, to the point my partner now wants to decorate our house the same 😂 Bathroom was clean and the addition of a microwave and fridge was actually really helpful! It is next to a couple of bars and we were provided ear plugs but honestly we didn’t need them. Our only small gripe was that the WiFi wasn’t great. Ended up just using our data but nevermind! We would happily come back again, thank-you for having us 😊

Everything was perfect

Great location. Nice room, good experience. Fan and tv cables a bit dusty. Shower drain a bit blocked. Water was overflowing a bit

My daughter and I brought her Three children of 16, 13 and 10 for an overnight stay to explore Brighton. The property was quirky and plenty big enough for the five of us. The girls loved it and all was going well until the fire alarm went off at around 1 o’clock. We went outside with the other guests, when the security people arrived they were not in the least bit friendly, our girls were quite frightened, especially as there was a fight going on at the opposite club. They seemed very grumpy and put out that had to come and sort it out, although I’m sure it’s their job. We felt they could have offered more reassurance that everything was ok especially as we had children with us.

not the best, not the worst serves a purpose but is fairly underwhelming. not the hotel's fault but the car park they recommend ends up costing 40 quid for a night.
