The apartment was like an inferno. The outside temp was only low 20s (it was after the recent heatwaves) but the bedroom and living room area was really hot making it exceptionally uncomfortable. It was also really really noisy until about 3am each night. I know it is a central location but there is zero sound proofing and we had to sleep with noise cancelling headphones. The blinds are basically see through and are a waste of time meaning the apartment is flooded with natural and man made light at all times. Overall one of the worst bookings I have even made and definitely will not be returning. The apartment itself is ok. The fixtures are obviously cheap and low quality but they are fine. Only stay here if you like sleeping in a light filled sauna that has banging music on late into the night!

I'll start with the positive. A spacious apartment with reasonable fittings. Location good for access to the main shopping area and Moorfield metro as we was going to the Open at Birkdale and shopping. The main downside is the location on top of Mathews Street, the home of the cavern club and Beatles. If you want to sleep at night then good luck as the band's play until at 1am. The apartment has secondary glazing which reduces some of the noise but not enough to sleep. Unfortunately the apartment isn't air-conditioned which was essential with recent hot weather. If you open the windows then the noise and music is too much. The apartment didn't even have any fans to help move some of the hot air around. Unfortunately I won't be returning

I’m not sure this room 11 is really suitable to rent out. It is in the same building as one of the nightclubs and the noise vibrates through the wall till all hours (in our case 3-4 am). The room is close to the street which is also noisy and there is no air conditioning so you can’t open the window and you’re stuck in a heat box. There is some kind of pump that makes a big noise when the water is running or toilet flushing. No reason not to fix this; it was explained but still should be corrected. Not a good stay!

The rooms need air conditioning units, or at least fans. As you cannot open the windows at night due to the sound of musics and traffic from the busy streets surrounding the apartment, the rooms were extremely hot. Too hot to sleep in. And with the windows, and location, too noisy to sleep in.

A superb property. Clean and well organised and in a superb location for rail And bus stops. 2 downfalls for me is lack of air con or fans makes it really uncomfortable at this time of year and No 2. if your not in Liverpool to join in the nightlife then this is not suitable as mathews street is live in the sitting room up to 5am in the morning. Would stay again though!

Great central location! Gorgeous apartments. Little bit noisy, especially on weekend nights and does need air conditioning when weather hot as opening windows increases noise. Loved it though!

The booking and checkin process was seamless and very simple. The apartment is centrally located and ideal for walking around the city. The rooms are a nice size and there’s a big tv. Those are the positives. I appreciate we are going through a heatwave but the whole place was stiflingly hot for the duration of our stay. It was actually a relief to get outside! Every second we spent indoors there was a sheen of sweat coating us. Massively unpleasant. Only one window would open in the living room, which did let a little air in. But you wouldn’t want it open. The reason? The noise from Matthew Street was horrific until gone midnight and then at 5am the bottle recycling took place. The noise meant sleep was at an absolute premium. Maybe we were unlucky as room 44 overlooked the street - perhaps a different room would be quieter. Either way I’d say a fan or aircon would be a very welcome addition. Other than that the bathroom was a bit tired. The shower head was quite grubby which put me off showering. If you’re staying, bring fans and earmuffs and it’ll be ideal.

Overall the apartment was excellent, spotlessly clean and huge. Very well stocked kitchen but no tea/coffee packs provided so it’s bring your own. Please put some bedside lamps in the bedrooms. It’s either bright spotlights or nothing. I would say pitch black but the blinds are useless so ensure you bring a sleep mask/earplugs or you will be woken up at dawn either by the sun or the bin men! Location is excellent but is VERY noisy, which is not advertised until after booking is made. Husband had booked it and not read the accompanying emails around the extra requirements for checking in which resulted in a last minute panic. You have to provide photo ID and a credit card pre-authorisation well before you arrive as there is no onsite reception.

Very spacious apartment with all the necessities for a great stay. Great location for Liverpool City centre and Albert Docks. Remember to check in online prior to travelling to ensure that you receive the door and key codes. Parking discount at Q-park Dale Street was a welcome bonus. Would definitely stay here again. Excellent value for money.

Great location next to Mathew Street

Great location and lovely sized rooms with comfortable beds. Check in process was easy as well as obtaining the keys. They were able to hold our luggage at check out which was appreciated ! Just make sure you double check the address as it appears they have several properties.

Really enjoyed our stay, the accommodation is in the center and very accessible to all the amenities. Would be booking it again in the future

Apartment is very roomy, however I found it quite disappointing. The kitchen is very well equipped, but there's no point in having a kettle if there's no tea, coffee, sugar or milk! Bedrooms were huge but they were both made up as doubles when one was supposed to be a twin, fortunately my daughter and her friend didn't mind sharing the double bed. A HUGE down side was the number of flies in the apartment. We opened all the windows in hope that some would leave the apartment, which led to the next issue..... The balancing of the weights for the sliding sash windows is awful. Some of the windows wont open and some are really heavy to open and need to be propped open with something to keep them open. However there is one window in the corner of the living-room which is the opposite to this, when I opened this one thinking it would be like the rest, it flew up, too quickly, and smashed my fingers into the secondary glazing which doesn't open as high as the sash. Without exaggerating, I was lucky not to break both my thumbs. I think this really needs to be addressed in the apartment. It is noted on the site that there is some street noise, which was expected as we were very central, we weren't expecting to have a drumming busker approximately 20 m from one of the bedroom windows who sets up at 10pm and plays till 3am (5 songs on loop) The flat has a damp issue, mostly obvious above the rear bedroom window. I'm sorry to say, I would not stay here again even if I was paid to.

Very clean, large apartment. Great central location close to the Caven Club (music heard at night, but not loud enough to concern us). Easy to walk to most tourist sites. Discount for nearby Q parking was useful. On line check-in was OK. Just a few hoops to go through, but understandable they need to check ID.

Great apartment, really big for a 1 bedroom. The kitchen was tidy and well equipped. It's in a great position too. We would definitely book here again

Spacious and clean with excellent location to the cavern quarter and Liverpool attractions. Communication with the host was excellent.

Clean, just make sure to bring a little fan in the summer.

Location fantastic until you realise you are exposed to the noise from Matthew Street, and with no sound-proofing, it's akin to being in a tent in Glastonbury..coupled with no air-conditioning, fans or ventilation in the room on one of the warmest weekends of the year, it was not a pleasant experience. The apartment itself was well equipped, clean and functional, but would benefit from somewhere to hang clothes, and a full length mirror .
