숙박을 다 결제를 마친 상태였는데 호스트가 헷갈려서 결제 안됬다고 한번더 결제 해버리는 바람에 지금까지 한국 카드사 환불 처리때매 애 먹고있습니다 묵었을 당시에는 기분이 좋았지만, 나갈때 그렇게 되서 기분이 안좋았습니다. 카드 취소하는 법을 잘 모르더군요. 그래서 취소영수증을 받긴했는데 찜찜해서 로밍 안한폰으로 카드사에서 연락하고 그랬습니다.

아주 만족함. 영국식 아침이 환상적임

조식이 정말 최고! 그리고 개인 욕실까지 있어서 굉장히 편했어요 ㅎㅎ

아담하지만 요크다운 분위기가 물씬 풍기는 매우 훌륭한 숙소. 걸어서 3분이내에 요크 다운타운으로 들어설 수 있음. 아침식사도 매우 훌륭. 주인부부도 착하고 예의바른 영국사람의 전형.

The facilities and the warm welcome from the owners were excellent

This is a great base for a trip to York. The location is excellent, just a short walk to the Minster and centre of the City. The railway station is just a 20 minutes walk away. The hosts Allan and Julie are so welcoming and friendly, taking time to chat to all the guests and on hand for assistance if ever needed. They serve up a great breakfast in the mornings with both a cooked breakfast and continental options available and plenty of choice of cereals and fruit. The room was warm and cosy with a comfortable bed. Everywhere is very clean and well maintained. I would highly recommend City Guest House for a stay in York.

Allan and Julie were very welcoming and accommodating. We loved the town of York and its proximity to the City Guest House. Excellent stay in an impeccable property. Highly recommended.

One of the best, if not best, hotel experience we’ve had. Allan and Julie, are the nicest and most serviceminded hosts there are. Was a lovely stay at their place, on a quiet street close to city centre.

Excellent hospitality from Julie and Alan who run this guest house. They were a delight and so very helpful and accommodating. The room was comfortable and very clean. It’s an older house with so much charm and personality and it’s been very well maintained so it’s just lovely and comfortable. The dining area and entry area were lovingly decorated for the holidays. Every morning freshly made to order breakfast was served and everything was delicious each time. I have absolutely nothing but great things to say about this guest house and the lovely people who run it. Thank you for everything, Julie and Alan.

A lovely place to stay, only a couple of minutes walk to the City. Room very clean, cosy and warm. Breakfast is very nice with plenty of options. Julie and Alan both wonderful people who cant do enough to make your stay the best. I will be booking this guest house again on my next stay in York. Highly recommended!

We had a lovely stay! Allen and Julie were really welcoming and friendly. The room was very clean and warm. The added breakfast was a really nice addition and a great way to start the day. Fab location in a lovely city, would highly recommend!

Julie and Alan were perfect hosts nothing was too much trouble - Close to York centre easy walking distance - Spotless premises and breakfast was remarkable - would definitely stay there again.
