Dirty tissues under children bed ,hairs in bathroom, torn bedding on the beds reception didn't speak Great English was hard to explain the issues was no lift for disabled wife rubbish left in corridors Was no fans in rooms no air con that worked we left a day earlier instead off 2 nights and cost a fair bit

Great for 1 night. Clean and comfy bed.

Not hypebole when I say this was the worst place I've ever stayed. First impressions at the reception were alright, and the lady at the desk was pleasant enough, but that's where the positives ended. As soon as I ventured upstairs towards my room... Dear lord. Place is outdated, dingey, unclean, untidy... Other guests propping their doors open with chairs (I assume to enable their own 'guests' easy access. The room I was given was absolutely BAKING HOT. Air Con made a hell of a lot of noise, but no air. No fan provided. Had window open, but couldn't have curtains open, due to requirement of having to strip off to not collapse in the heat, yet not wanting to flash guests in the rooms opposite. Bedding was stained/marked. Shower floor was stained. Toilet seat busted, moved about all over the place. Bed itself may have been comfy, but I was too damn hot to pay any notice. Only upside was having the services next door, where I could escape to. But that's telling you something... I'd rather sit in a busy services, stuffing my face with yet another Maccys Chicken Select than spend time in the room I'd paid for. Stayed because it was cheap and close to my office. Have seen this hotel listing rooms at £100 per night on occasion. You'd have to be mad, desperate, or one of the aforementioned people looking to 'host guests'... Never again.

Room was nice and clean and the staff helpful. I was able to park close to the entrance. Breakfast (if you choose to include it) was via a voucher for the services and I had a full english to set me up for the day. One thing to be aware of is that Google Maps shows the hotel rooms here as having air-con. This is not the case and is an error by Google. Both the Expedia and Days Inn websites correctly do not show air con, which should be borne in mind if planning to stay in hot weather. That said the price was very competitive.

Pleasant easy check in, easy to park, comfortable bed, a welcome break from travelling.

Never one to complain about things, however Room stunk of smoke despite it being a non smoker room even with the window being open. Mostly came from the bathroom. The bedding had a hole at bottom of the bed. The sink would not drain due to plug being stuck in. We did get told it turns but tried everything to get it to drain the water out! Old rust in a lot of areas in the bathroom. The only plus was that the staff were friendly!

I went gor two nights during the heatwave. The room was lovely and cool the first night, but on night two the ac was on but not cool and I boiled all night - used the fan but its not the same. Im guessing but either they forgot I was there for a second night and turned it off, or they'd run out of ad blue or similar. I was too tired to say a thing but sleeping with a fan in your face doesn't compare to ac. Also the cokes out of the fridge weren't cold, and the chocolate melted. And shower pressure was average was at best. But its a £70 Days inn - its fine - does what it says on the tin. If the ac is on then youre happy

It’s a days inn. Not the ritz. Convenient location, good staff, hotel itself is a little grubby but perfectly fine.

Clean room; helpful staff; parking was fine. The problems I had were entirely with Expedia, regardless of its web site saying customers could contact them, I could not 'phone them or "chat" with them, that is, I "chatted", but three days later, no "chat" back. Given 'phone number didn't exist!

As per every visit The staff were once again my reason to return

We stayed at the hotel for one night and it was the worst night ever. We stayed in the family room me, my son and our dog which nearly died, she couldn't brief there (french bulldog). It was very hot outside and we couldn't open our window because it was broken. It was boiling hot there. We had two fans run whole the time but without fresh air it was really hard to stayed there. We asked to change the room but theymafe so fuss about and apparently were fully booked. Avoid staying through the summer

Ideal location for stop over to pick up leger bus tour and save myself 8hrs on a bus!

Was given a room that had a smoky smell at first. After pointing out to the receptionist she found another room to relocate. The VAT receipt (£35.50) did not cover the fee i paid to Hotel.com (£41.99) which was a bit odd.
