Although the room itself was actually quite nice, I have to give an overall poor rating due to the extremely disappointing check-in process. When I made the booking via Expedia through TD, the confirmation email stated that, since this hostel does not have a front desk, a separate email would be sent one day prior to check-in with instructions for online check-in and registration. However, I never received any such email, neither from Expedia nor from the hostel, on the day before check-in or even on the check-in day itself. To make matters worse, the hostel provided no contact information other than a phone number. I tried calling several times, and it was only on the third attempt that someone finally answered. The staff member did not sound very friendly, and although they said they would resend the email, nothing came through. I had to call back again, at which point they told me to send them an email so they could reply from there. The entire ordeal took almost two hours, during which I was wandering the streets without even knowing the hostel’s exact address. At one point, I really thought I would have nowhere to stay for the next couple of days. The experience was so stressful that it still feels traumatic even now. I strongly recommend you not to book this hostel if you are reading this review.

The room looked nothing like the pictures published on Hotels.com. It was absolutely filthy with hair everywhere and to make matters worse, it had an infestation of bed bugs. I bumped in to other guests staying at the accommodation whilst I was there and they all reported the same filthy experience. Stay clear.

I should have read the other reviews before booking, my experience was very similar to what others described. The wall between rooms is removable and extremely thin, so conversations from the next room can keep you awake. The bathroom is shared, even though the listing didn’t mention it. The windows can’t be opened, and it gets very hot at night. The bigger bed, described in the listing as "king", was probably twin wise.

Absolutely not as advertised. Wpuld not stay again. Advertised as sound proofed rooms, my room was separated by nothing more than a bifolding door from the next room. On 2 different nights the occupants of the next door room attempted to enter my room through the bifold door which was held shut only by 1 bolt because they thought it was another room to their room. I felt unsafe as a lone female as these were male guests. In addition the room was advertised as with bathroom. It was shared. I raised both issues with the hotel. They were not interested. I raised the issue with hotels.com who tried to get me a refund so I coild find somewhere else to stay but the hotel refused. They do NOT supply towels. Bring your own. Do not expect to be able to cook as the kitchen has very little crockery and the cutlery is poor quality. There are no televisions in the ground floor rooms. There are no cleaning products provided for the kitchen so cleanliness there was poor. There was no extra toilet paper.provided. There was no bideside lamps Thewindows did not open so no ventilation. No fans of aircon in 30+ heat No fire escape only one door in amd out. no fire evacuation plan
