This was a lovely place to stay. It was close enough that the amenities were close by but far away enough that it was peaceful. We had a good sized room with a modern ensuite bathroom and everything was very clean. Julia and Paul were accommodating and very friendly throughout our stay. The breakfast was a lovely start to the day and plenty of options were available. Parking spaces were available at the front

The property was spotless throughout, from the front door to dining room, stairs, room and bathroom. Parking available on the driveway. Room was spacious with nice ensuite.Free wifi. Entire property was decorated beautifully and everything was of good quality: furniture, mattresses, bed linen and towels. There is free wifi in the house. Breakfast was well cooked, very tasty, good quality products and plenty. The owners were very nice, welcoming and attentive. Honestly, there is nothing you can fault . We’ll return for sure.

Had a fabulous time at Glenora guest house. Me and my sister came for the goth weekend and felt very welcome. Breakfast was fab! 100% would stay here again- thank you!

Very nice room and easy walking distance to the beach, harbour and town centre. Friendly and helpful owners.

We were only here two nights but we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Our hosts were were very accommodating and friendly and nithing was too much trouble. We would definitely stay again.

This was a real find! Lovely clean room, easy to walk to Whitby, parking facilities (quite rare in Whitby), friendly ghosts and an excellent breakfast.

Julia and Paul were fantastic hosts. The room was comfortable, bathroom clean and functional. Amazing breakfast with plenty of coffee and juice! Would very much recommend!

The service, Julia was a wonderful host, and gave me an upgraded room which was lovely and en-suite. This was an extremely good, and professional thing to do, as the property, was empty of guests at the time. The breakfasts were fine, and on-time, and Julia and Paul were excellent hosts, who recommended a great place for a meal, and supplied my own keys, as well as treating me to an Hot Chocolate. The parking round the area, would have worried me, but I managed to get a space at the front of the building. All in all, I could not have asked, for a better place too stay, or better service. I would go back in a flash, but they are hoping to sell up.

A weekend away to celebrate our 31st anniversary started with the poring rain which didn't stop all weekend! We met our hosts Julia and Paul on arrival and were shown our immaculate room on the first floor, spotless, large room with two chairs for a comfortable seat whilst watching a bit of TV. Breakfast is/was pre order which we think is the best option. Quick and delicious. Everything was to perfection. Julia and Paul couldn't do enough for any of their guests. Thank you for a great weekend away [apart from the wind and rain].

Paul and Julia run a lovely house. They were welcoming and helpful. Our room was spacious and well appointed, with a lovely new shower. The bus stop is right out the front door and Pannett Park with its Whitby museum are within a 2 minute walk. Town is less than 10 minutes on foot. Breakfast was wonderful each day and my only regret is not planning a longer stay!

This has to be the best B B i have been to. Paul and Julia are the best hosts, we felt like we were friends visiting. They made us so welcome. The breakfast was absolutely great. And the room was spacious clean and very comfortable. We can highly recommend Glenora. Thank you for a wonderful stay

Lovely few nights away. The room was really nice and clean. The breakfast was absolutely delicious. It’s in walking distance to everything which made it super easy to go back and forth if need be. The owners were really friendly as well. Would definitely come back.

We had a lovely stay here 5 minute walk into town. The room was excellent & decorated to a very high standard, lots of tea & coffee, also bottles of water provided. Lots of choice for breakfast. Will definitely stay here again & highly recommended.
