Where to start, it was cheaper than most places in Newcastle but still wasn't worth what we paid. No air-conditioning, the kitchen drain smelled terrible, the toilet leaked, there were toenails in the bathroom, originally put in a two bedded room when there was 3 of us, very hot stuffy room, unable to open window properly as there was a chain lock preventing us. Beds were clean and fairly comfy.

Shocking, unclean and had to sleep on top of the bed fully clothed

Car park full of rubbish. Got to check in desk needed photo id which never knew about and also had to leave cash refundable charge incase you made any damage to the room. Entrance door has no lock or anything so was just open all the time. Lift out of order. Room nothing like pictures. Had a connecting door to room next door which wasnt very secure so we had to move furniture in front of it. Very in need of redecorating. Marks on walls, holes in carpet. No full length mirror but screws to hang it were there. Only mirror was in bathroom. So i had to do my hair using the reflection in the microwave door as my friend used bathroom one. Sink in bathroom doesnt drain away properly. Tv didnt work. Bed had to wall lights one didnt work and the one that did was utterly pointless. We also had very very load people next door. So had to ring reception 3 times. Which was pointless. So only had about 2 hours sleep. Horrendous!!

Tired room but clean. The owners should let you know with the check in details that you will require photo ID and want a cash security deposit on the key card, as I had neither of these on check in.

Emm alright and plenty space but grubby room and flooding shower room

Last minute overnight stay. Reception staff great. Room tired with some damage.wetroom style shower floor not shaped properly so flooded the bathroom. Room was clean with tea/coffee/biscuits but even so, not for me.

The whole building smells disgusting, it was horrible. My room and bathroom smelt equally as bad upon arrive.

There was nothing to like. Lift wasn't working, water wasn't draining in the bathroom wash basin. Free breakfast is a falsehood, laundry is a falsehood. Rooms were cleaned only one day out of the 4 days we stayed.

absolutely terrible when we got there they didn’t have our booking and tried to place us in a smaller room for double the price I booked for. The room was tiny and the men were rude

Our stay here was okay I mean we’ve been to worse places but as we arrived we were met with a hole in the floor between our 2 single beds. Then as we were going to microwave our food the microwave had mouldy food inside of it. The manager & cleaners did offer us a different room but we were settled by the time we found the food so we just stayed in our room. My husband went to lie on the sofa bed & the arm of the chair was hanging off. I went in the shower & the shower was hanging by a nail it could have fell off and caused a major leak! Water was cold. The manager was nice & friendly as was the 2 cleaners. I would say if you’re going to book this hotel just be careful. We removed a mattress & seen one single bed had a complete hole through the base which made the bed sink. The area has many shops & food places and 10 minutes from the city centre which is a bonus. Unfortunately this stay was not the cleanest but we aren’t fussy. Thank you for our stay

Very basic, not the cleanest, piles of rubbish outside entrance. Ended up leaving. Asked for refund still waiting for reply off duty manager. Stains and burns on carpet.

Arrived to find directions sent us to the wrong place. Arrived at apartments and checked in. Room on 2nd floor. No TV remote. 50% of LED spotlights not working. No light switch near bed (so had to stumble through dark room to bed). No reading lights. So eventually to bed. Next morning dived in shower (quite good) to find NO TOWELS. Very disappointed

You most certainly receive value for your pound here! The rooms are immaculate and the rain showers in the washrooms are amazing!! This is our 3rd stay here!

The Staff are excellent and take pride in the property which is rare these days

First class really & great value for money but the room was so warm & couldn't cool it down .

Functional no frills perfect to use as a base easy access to city centre clean quiet good parking

Ours is a family of 2 adults plus 18 yr old and 15 yr old, so the booking was for 3 ad + 1 ch. We were expecting bunk beds from other reviews. The first room (8) was very cramped and had a double only made up for 2 adults, we assembled the bunk beds ourselves. I went to ask for extra bedding but were then given the bigger room (2) which had 2 single plus the bunk beds. This is where I will start to mark them down. The beds were fine with clean sheets and duvets. However the bunk beds had 1 sheet and a blanket each. The pillows on the bunk beds were giant leather things. In the bathroom were 2 bath towels. I asked for more towels the evening we arrived and was told I would get them in the morning when housekeeping arrived. Still none in the morning so asked again and took a walk to the supermarket before showering, expecting them to be there when we got back. Still no, so the 4 of us had to shower with 2 towels. In the evening still only 2 towels. I asked in again and this time the guy on reception went and got some for us . So, the second morning we had a towel each for showering. BUT when we got back in the evening the room had been cleaned and we were left with only 2 towels again. Gave up asking at this point. (3 night stay) The kitchen has no toaster/cookeer, just a coffee maker, microwave and a fridge. Not a kitchen but a cupboard. No hairdryer. The rooms look well, recently done up and modern. Good TV. Location not near anything. My fault though.

Can't review the apartments due to leaving after being verbally abused in the adjacent car park on arrival. I paid for the room as the agreement stated but would not venture into that area again. As I said I paid for the room and then was charged again two weeks later. This has now been returned to me.
