Although the hotel is Ideally located in the heart of historic Canterbury, and we found a comfortable room, helpful staff, and delicious breakfast, our stay was absolutely ruined by what is apparently a nightclub directly next door. We not only heard but felt the loud throbbing bass and percussion of club music that lasted until 2am both Fri & Sat. I am a drummer myself, but I was unable to sleep through this incredibly intrusive noise. We travelled with family who had two other rooms, all of us on the 4th floor, and everyone said they were very disturbed by the music. It seriously impacted my ability to enjoy Canterbury because I was so sleep-deprived. It’s a real shame because otherwise the hotel is lovely.

The staff were very helpful, the room was well stocked and very clean. The breakfast was very good and fulfilling with many options. The hotel is centrally located in Canterbury and within walking distance to Canterbury Catherdal.

Nice hotel to stay. Staff was a bit sarcastic with the requests made. Otherwise everything else all good.

Have stayed here 3 times. Good facilities. Rooms and beds are nice and big, even in the twin rooms.

Excellent place to stay. Especially when there’s air con in the room. Super comfortable. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Cheers! Oh and there’s a waffle machine for the free breakfast!

Great location, great hotel, great staff

I prefer Hampton by Hilton to Premier Inns now and stay in them whenever possible. This one was typical of the brand. Clean, modern, well equipped with excellent friendly staff. And the included breakfast is a real bonus. Great stay. Only thing that would improve life would be a small in room fridge.

Our stay was very nice and the hotel was very good, abit pricey for the one night stay, I guess this is because of the central location, very close to everything in the heart of Canterbury, our only complaint really was the air conditioning was not very good and didn’t cool us down very well, would advise guests to get seated for breakfast early as we made the mistake of having this at 9am and the breakfast area was packed. Overall a really good stay and would go back again.

Nice hotel with A1 staff. Some deferred maintenance and the place looks a bit dated but all in all OK. The breakfast was good and varied. We felt the price was a bit high for the hotel but it appeared to be the best one in the area. Well located and a 20 minute walk from most of the things you want to see. Canterbury East Rail is a short walk away. All good
