Very hot room despite fully opened windows

I'm not one to write reviews or moan. But I have stayed at this hotel many times (over 20) as I work a lot in the area. What you need to know is that the rooms are really hit-and-miss from a noise perspective and decor. My last visit I was in a twin on the ground floor. The room itself is ok. The bathroom has been done well (some are not). But the noise from upstairs was awful. You could literally hear the conversation of the people above. In this instance, the people upstairs were awake until 3am and back up and making noise at 6am! It's also right next to the car park, so when people start moving around, you hear everything outside. I mentioned this in the morning. the receptionist asked if we had complained, but I don't feel it was the guest's fault. They were not being excessive, just moving around and talking, but you could hear literally everything! They need to prioritise soundproofing the rooms. It should be said I have had some great rooms but there are some that are soooo noisy. Ask for something higher up in the hotel. Stear clear of lower rooms and those on the corridor to the spa as when I stayed there, you can again hear everyone coming and going to the spa as it is a wooden floor and the beds are right by the door. Other than the noisy rooms it is a nice space - lovely restaurant and the spa is small but nice if you get a chance to use it. But a good night sleep is not guaranteed!

Lovely welcoming hotel, very high cleaning standards, rooms are lovely decorated. Only slight issue no view at all out of window.

The staff were very friendly and welcoming. We like the decor and paintings. We enjoyed the food in the restaurant but it was a little chilly as the weather had been frosty. Several people found this also. The room was comfortable . We would like to try other harbour hotels.

We had a wonderful relaxing stay, the outdoor spa and indoor pool was our highlight- so relaxing and nothing beats watching the sunrise from a hot tub. Rooms were great, loved the mini bar and food was excellent in the restaurant. Would recommend a walk around Richmond park too.

Fantastic rooms staff and the spa is amazing!!!

I really like this hotel, close to the river and park, good pubs, not far from London. Great pool and hot tubs. Only gripe is the black mould in the shower, so easy to sort, but looks awful.

Spa facilities are great and smelt divine.

Lounge too small and needs a proper bar.

Nice hotel in great location but additional charge £15 per day for parking. Staff are efficient but not the warmest.

What a lovely little hotel! Nice bar/restaurant, and modern rooms that are spacious by many UK hotel standards. The only thing that might be tricky is accessibility if you have trouble with stairs- a fair number of steps to reception and between floors, though they may have more accessible accommodations and entrances available that aren’t obvious.

Very unkind staff. We stayed in the summer, super hot weather but the ac was not working, they haven’t tried to do anything. Either like it or not attitude. Toilet was smelly. Eventually we got our room changed but under long negotiations.
