Room spotless staff so friendly spa great restaurant food was amazing along with staff cannot fault anything

We have been to this hotel several times now, it’s lovely, bright rooms, good breakfast and great size pool. My only concern was room 101, the heated towel rail was extremely hot and I dapped my arm on it a few times, it would definitely burn a child. Please put a sticker nearby stating a warning sign.

Second stay in this hotel and we really enjoyed our stay. Everything was nice from our bedroom spotless and cosy with s large bathroom to the staff efficient and pleasant. Secial mention for our dinner and breakfast . We will come back .

We stayed in a courtyard room which looked nice on entry however realised there were drawbacks to the room . Water dripping from the ceiling at foot of the bed meant the carpet was wet. Rang reception twice to report but no answer. Water was only just hot enough for a cool bath and wasn’t able to regulate the temperature. As it’s winter I expected it to be hotter. Room temperature on entering seemed quite cool, after a bit of investigation my husband realised that the radiator was turned off. The bed was super comfortable and the bedding was fresh. The hotel breakfast was great. Lots of choices and the staff were both attentive and friendly- thank you.

Lovely 2 night stay and just as we remembered from previous visits which were a few years ago. Comfortable room and bed with side sea view. Hotel lounge/bar area comfortable and staff were very helpful and pleasant. Restaurant food was excellent with good continental breakfast with healthy options, fresh fruit as well as cooked menu if desired. Evening meal was also excellent. Unfortunately didn’t get chance to use the spa or pool this time but it looked very pleasant. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will return.

Friendly staff

Room small with unsuitable furniture and en suite badly laid out. Breakfast very good with nice fruit and yoghurt options. Gym well equipped.

Very nice hotel my only problem was with the room it was a single room but it was very small House keeping was very poor which i did bring this to their attention but nothing was done. Even had a manager have to make up my bed one evening as i had stripped it but no clean bedding was put on the bed.

Two night stay at Harbour hotel good overall stay with excellent service.

It’s nice but it’s not outstanding and it is far too expensive for what it is.

A nice but slightly disappointing stay. The hotel was lovely and views cannot be faulted, however there were lots of little things that don't impact your stay really, you'd expect to be better given the amount you're paying. There are lots of minor cosmetics like dents on walls, rusty chromework etc as well as the cleanliness. There were cobwebs everywhere in the bar and restaurant and the floor always seemed to have crumbs somewhere. In our room, our fan was caked in dust and the ledges and skirting boards were also very dusty. The staff on reception and in the bar were lovely, but very overworked! One housekeeper barged past us on the narrow stairs more than once, including when we were carrying suitcases! None of this would put me off staying again as the location is amazing, however I would only go back there if it was a lot cheaper - our little room facing the car park was not really worth over £200 a night.

I only had the breakfast, but continental and cooked was good. Staff were attentive. The fan in my room was covered in dust, but the receptionist insisted on cleaning it when none of the cleaning staff were about. It was not possible to sit at the desk on the chair provided as there was not enough room because of the bed. The rain water shower was excellent though.

Nice hotel spoilt by the lack of air con. Room almost uninhabitable without a large freestanding fan running 24/7.

Good dining experience. Nice outside space with pool. Large bed but too much furniture made it feel cramped. No place to store cases. Roomy bathroom. Car park is rather small. Convenient for seafront and town.
