Good Location,very quiet,nice view! Wonderful staying in St Ives beachfront

Hotel well located, nice design, breakfast and food are nice, The desk people are not interested of anything, doing their job with no joy, no sympathy, it’s not lively, except for one waiter at the restaurant who served us at breakfast and lunch who was very nice and joyful Room nice but no AC…and 4th floor bit tricky to get there (not for everyone) Bathroom could be cleaned better (spotted hairs in the shower at arrival), and shower not clean the day after as well as the toilet

Beautiful superior room with balcony view of the bay. Handy access to the train, shops, and restaurants. Good Continental breakfast and handy valet parking for &10/night.

The overall experience was excellent; from the location on the outskirts of town but walkable to all points of interest, to the room with the view, the lounge and breakfast, and parking! I would definitely stay there again.

Modern rooms and facilities - friendly staff

Mein Einzelzimmer war sehr klein und hellhörig. Eierspeisen müssen beim Frühstück extra bezahlt werden, einen Hinweis darauf enthielt die Frühstückskarte jedoch nicht.

We enjoyed the Hotel and its amenities eg indoor pool, jacuzzi, wet and dry sauna plus the spa. I had a massage and one of the best at a hotel in the UK. The room was comfortable and bathroom a good size. However, the bedroom window with views of the sea was small, so disappointing but will upgrade next time as the views are so worth it! The location of the hotel is ideal for using the train and access to the lovely sandy beach. Walking to the centre of the town is about 10 mins and easy but coming back is all up hill so be prepared as there are no buses. If you love seafood St Ives has plenty. The hotel bar area and dining room deliver the amazing views too with food good! We will be back next year in June instead of May for warmer weather. And finally the staff were friendly and helpful.

Staff have really improved. Dan in bar and restaurant was excellent, very attentive.

It was our dream to visit St.Ives all the way from Japan and we decided to stay at this hotel which reached to our expectation. The quality and atmosphere of the room over looking the beach was impressive. The room and every corner of the hotel was taken care accurately and neatly with the a kind of pride and affection of the owner and staffs. The breakfast was not gorgeous like a modern 5 star hotel, but it was good enough to enjoy the touch of a fresh morning in England. We would love to come back again to reminisce the unforgettable experience we had this time.

Lovely hotel, beautiful views and comfy rooms. Breakfast was nice but a shame you pay extra for anything outside the continental. Would need aircon if it got any hotter than when we were there. Would definitely stay again.

Had a poor experience at this hotel I would not visit again I checked in 31st March had a long drive down the woman on the reception was not helpful at all we checked in slightly earlier but she just said check in is 3pm I get that I’ve travelled the world my point is she was just rude she couldn’t even suggest in waiting in the lobby, I had to take all my cases back to the car as there is no direct car park for this hotel which is another joke no one tells you this till you arrive so they take your keys away we don’t know where it gets parked and they keep the keys, well I wasn’t going to let that happen. Went for dinner that night the guy that welcomed us was very nice and welcoming as for the other staff which really let’s this places down are very lazy not pro active I asked for 2 cocktails a pornstar Martini I’ve never seen a pot rat martini served like this before was so watered down and the presentation was poor, dinner was good apart from the desert chocalte pudding more like rock hard straight out the freezer when asked the waiter he said he would let the chef know that’s no good like I said poor customer service let’s thisplaced down then at brekkie my chair broke in front of everyone again the staff are not active at all so lazy I had to ask if I could move tables and then on top of that we had to wait for our cooked breakfast over 30 mins bearing in mind the hotel is not busy yet so I dread to think what it would’ve like at peak My Tv in room and internet crap

Disappointing Although refurbished to a good standard, the hotel has unfortunately kept a 1930s style lift, great to look at, but quite useless as a functioning lift. Particularly useless if you’re on the fourth floor as it only goes to three. It has a metal shutter style inner door that if left open when leaving, renders the lift inoperable. In a three day stay I had to find the lift on at least six occasions to close the door as my wife needed to use it. I would therefore, not recommend this hotel to anyone with mobility problems. The staff were very friendly and as helpful as they could be. Evening meals were good but kept the same menu so quite repetitive. The English breakfast was inedible. Fried egg burnt on the bottom, raw on top. Sausage with a skin so tough it was difficult to cut, and the remainder of the items had spent too long under a heat lamp so they had dried out. Great views but the hotel needs some sorting out.

Fabulous room and perfect beach view

Spotless room, excellent facilities, fabulous staff (shout out for the lovely Nicole). Great food.

The hotel allows children to use the indoor pool only between 9am - 10am and between 3pm - 4 pm. We couldn’t find that information when we booked, and the member of staff at the reception didn’t advise us that when we asked about the availability of the indoor pool with my daughter. It was disappointing. The hotel itself and general services were nice.

Extremely clean, staff very friendly, lovely dinner on the night and very pleasant breakfast. Pool was gorgeous too and the hotel even parked our car 👍

Room was spotless, loved the location, short walk to downalong and minutes walk from the beach. Views from the hotel restaurant are outstanding, and staff were all welcoming and friendly. You cant park nearby, but there is an easy set up for pulling up outside in temporary parking opposite and they will then take your car and you can request it is bought back for checkout, or inbetween. We enjoyed the freedom of not driving, all amenities were a short stroll away.

Très belle chambre vue océan avec plage à proximité. Chambre grande propre tout confort. Bonne literie. Petit déjeuner continental bon. Personnel efficient et sympathique
