Holiday Inn Express BIRMINGHAM - WALSALL, an IHG Hotel

The toilet seat was very dirty with spots of blood. It was late so I had to clean it myself

We had a fantastic stay. Plenty of parking,friendly staff. Very clean and comfortable rooms.

We just stayed for one night on this occasion and overall, it was a very good experience, apart from some noisy guests nearby and the fire alarm going off, as we were about to have our breakfast. It was absolutely freezing cold, on that morning and we were out there for a good 15-20min., without our jackets. This is the 2nd time, we have been in this situation…!!

Stayed here one night for a Christmas party. Friendly staff, clean comfy quiet rooms and an included in your stay breakfast buffet with everything your hungover self could desire. Too notch for reasonable price!

The rooms in this HIE are now getting tired, especially the bathroom Holes in wall where towel hanger should be, poorly applied silicone, broken shower head bracket Getting scruffy and in need of maintenance Room smelt very damp when I checked-in, lots of moisture on the inside of the window - housekeeping need to air the room before new guests Restaurant/bar all good, chicken makhani very good Sort the rooms out and this hotel would be up to scratch again

Staff were lovely, very professional, friendly and helpful. Breakfast is excellent and free parking is appreciated. Overall we found it great value.

A great 2 night stay for an event in the local area. Breakfast is always good!

Great besides the car park was full so I had to pay to park elsewhere

Stay was fine, staff friendly. breakfast items were over cooked, sausages crunchy on the outside, mushy and tasteless in the middle, bacon dry as old shoe leather, beans and scrambled eggs in a warming try that was far to hot, beans were drying out and egg was so dry it looked like bread crumbs.
