I stayed with my son before his exam and our stay was just wonderful, in particular the hospitality of every staff. A porter even gave my son a notebook with a pen and a lovely message to wish him luck on his exam. We were very touched! It was a lovely stay overall - highly recommended!

we had the misfortune of an adjacent room with two children playing ball.communicated to reception on the first evening, but unfortunately it had no effect. On the last evening I communicated the fact via email asking for a little help because I really wanted to rest, and a very kind gentleman from the front office offered us a solution to spend at least one quiet night in another room. I thank him for this thought but it seems absurd to me that they are not called back and promptly prohibited from playing in the room. they disturbed us every day and every night. People pay for a relaxing and quiet stay, otherwise there is no point in choosing such structures like this. So The rooms are not very soundproofed, so if you are looking for peace and quiet, be careful that a similar situation could happen to you. The room didn't have a king size bed as described, but two single mattresses pushed together. Very strange. we had to ask for slippers (as with every stay we have here). in short, there are many small problems, caused by carelessness in preparing the room and on the attention on the floors.

We had a wonderful stay at the Holmes hotel. Very comfortable room (2 beds) on the fourth floor. Beds a bit hard but we slept really well. Nespresso coffeemachine was a plus for us as were the bottles of water and cookies. We loved the look and feel of the hotel. Everything feels and looks brand new. There are many different lobby areas to have a rest or work. A gym (we didn't use) and the restaurant is also quite popular and looked really welcoming with fireplaces. The location though is the best. Just steps from Baker street underground as well as busses galore. Two steps to Marleybone High Street. Many different shops and restaurants and cafes to have a bite to eat on Baker street as well. We had no breakfast but there was enough within short walking distance. We will be back for sure.

The room was very spacious and nicely appointed. The food and service were super, both for dinner and at a private event we had. Enjoyed the vibe and the convenience of the area. We will return and recommend the hotel to others.
