Staff very friendly - bed so comfortable

The room was spotless and cosy, also the tv was great, YouTube, BBC, All 4 and so many more available.

Really welcoming owner, clean rooms, quaint B&B experience.

The heating was not on and the duvet was so thin I struggled to get warm. The fire alarm went off at 0400 in the morning.

The overall appearance of the hotel is it totally run down the bar is totally closed no parking as this is used by staff

Basic room and hotel

Bed was situated in an awkward position under eaves. The bath had bath had blades of grass on the bottom of it and the toilet had been used and had not been flushed and obviously not been cleaned. Have stayed in this hotel once before but this visit will definitely be our last. Would most definitely NOT recommend to anyone

There were no parking spaces available so I had to pay for Railway Parking. Despite having lots of work done to the interior of the hotel it still felt tired & it even though it had what looked like a bar and restaurant, there was no food or drink available. My room was ok, but the mattress was shot, the tv required Roku subscription so I couldn’t use it & the toilet flushing mechanism broke. I had to move the ballcock to stop the noisy constant run of water

We decided to stay at Datchet because of the parking issues in Windsor as that was the purpose of our stay to visit Windsor Castle, with it being just a 20 minute walk we thought it would be a good choice, coffee in Datchet and breakfast in Windsor. The room we were allocated was tired and could do with a revamp, carpet was well worn with bare patches toilet didn't flush properly obviously they were having issues with it because the panel was loose on the floor, booked as a double room we only had one cup in the room and no spoon, we aren't fussy all we want is somewhere to sleep as we eat out and spend our days exploring.

2nd stay at this hotel and it was a surprise to learn no breakfast, no WiFi. The hotel has deteriorated and needs work. The water flow in bathroom sink was useless and shower not great. Bath still had plastic wrapping on it. The staff are friendly enough but it’s a pretty poor hotel on the decor and facilities front. Could be so much nicer.

I had a really good stay at the Manor in Datchet. This was my second stay in 3 years and the quality has improved. A warm welcome, attentive staff and clean room, lovely. My only request would be to have a bar fridge in the room as it was very hot. Otherwise … I’ll be back next year.

The bathroom was dirty, and had hairs in the bath and the shower head was also dirty and did not look like it had been cleaned. There was also nails sticking out around the bed.

Ideal location for Windsor.

Very much just okay. The photos on website are very outdated and the hotel and rooms need a lot of attention. Only 1 member of staff when I arrived and then hand written notes with contact numbers later on and in the morning. Could be and probably once was a lovely hotel. It is in the centre of a lovely village with a lot to offer.

Friendly staff, who were happy to help. Nice clean room, which was a nice size for the price. This room also included a large terrace area, which would be lovely on a sunny morning to enjoy breakfast on. Lacked a toilet roll holder, hooks & shelving in the bathroom, but shower was good. Not able to offer any breakfast/food or bar as currently being refurbished, but no sign of any work going on. Would recommend as an alternative to staying in Windsor, as less than 5 minutes on the train, which runs about every 30 minutes & is about a minute walk away.

Location is great, property is beautiful, clean and the staff are extremely lovely. Im very pleased to have found this place! I’m already looking at when I can come back!

We flew into Heathrow in the afternoon and made the booking after 3pm. On the booking we had asked if any accessible rooms but we never received a response. On arrival I went in to find out that they didn’t have wheelchair friendly rooms. As one off the guests is a paraplegic, and the only rooms were upstairs, the hotel was to our needs. I asked for a refund only to be told the booking should have been cancelled one hour before 3pm being a check in date. If this hotel had responded to our request when we asked if rooms were accessible for a wheelchair .. then we would have cancelled the booking. Two nights accommodation basically wasted
