This hotel is very clean, breakfast is good and bed is very comfortable. The shower is great but bathroom is very tight. All in all good location and helpful staff.

The staff were lovely, it was so easy to get to from the train station. The room was small but sufficient for an overnight stay. The breakfast was good value for money. It was clean and fresh and a nice choice of food. My sister’s and myself there was 6 of us all complemented the food and cleanliness.

We stayed here for the Victorious festival and the location was perfect. We arrived at 10:30am and there were stil quite a few car parking spaces left. Staff were very welcoming and hotel was quite. Great buffet breakfast.

The room was tiny, which was ok, however, the bathroom was so cramped that it was actually difficult to use! For 2 people it was tolerable for one night, any longer would have been a real struggle. In addition, bathroom door banged all night, we initially thought that this was because the bathroom window was open, but it was the same with the window closed.

It is an ideal location to gunwharf quays and city centre but the rooms are incredibly small. The town centre being nearby can also be very noisy due to clubs/music. Loud music went on outside until 1-2am so be wary of that. 🙂

It was close to landmarks and was able to be walkable to the port (40min walk but mainly flat area) the complementary breakfast was filling and the staff was there to ensure freshness and that the tables are clean for the next guest

Bathroom was tiny, you couldn’t dry yourself in it. Shower leaked, the towel was used to stand on was soaked by the time we had our showers from leaking water.

Easy access to the transport services. Bus stop outside the hotel, takes you to the main terminal from there you can plan your days out using local transport. Quiet due to university campus shut for summer but would imagine busy during term periods. Easy to walk into town, The Terrace Cafe was a great find.

Ibis seemed quite modern, smelt nice and comfortable. Staff could have been more engaging. We only had 3 pillows for our double bed…should have been 4? Breakfast was decent and hot. Would stay again.

receptionist was not very helpful when i arrived i was very tired after my 6 hour journey, to be dismissed after i explained that i had already paid for my breakfast , . if i hadn't enquired about breakfast times in the morning, i would not have relised that they had not updated there computer system to say i was entitled to a free breakfast

The room was tiny, which was ok, however, the bathroom was so cramped that it was actually difficult to use! For 2 people it was tolerable for one night, any longer would have been a real struggle. In addition, bathroom door banged all night, we initially thought that this was because the bathroom window was open, but it was the same with the window closed.
