C'était notre 2e séjour dans cet hôtel.
Nous apprécions toujours le quartier calme, le design, le confort des chambres et l'amabilité du personnel.
Cette fois, notre chambre était en sous-sol (basement/lower ground) mais ce n'était pas trop gênant pour la luminosité si on ne passe pas la journée dans la chambre (il y avait quand même des fenêtres). Seulement, nous ne pouvions pas du tout aérer notre chambre (fenêtres non ouvrantes), ce qui nous a dérangés.
Le café de l'hôtel propose un petit déjeuner (végétarien/vegan) plutôt bon mais il est plus intéressant de le réserver par avance : à la carte, il est cher avec des portions réduites qui laisseront les bons mangeurs sur leur faim, et le service est un peu lent. Plusieurs cafés autour de l'hôtel proposent des formules plus avantageuses.

We had a wonderful stay here, the staff were friendly and helpful, the breakfast was delicious and the common spaces were very relaxing. Highly recommend the queen suite.

We loved our stay, we were happily upgraded to one of their beautiful suites with a bathtub. The library area was great to do some work with and the gym was nice. Only downside is that the booking of the sauna is quite messy and staff often booking guests over each other or forgetting to turn the sauna on so it was cold.

Very nice hotels. But the beds were a bit small. They were so short, my husband that is 184 cm had his feet sticking out over the edge while sleeping.

The hotel is lovely, very well designed and decorated. Was in London for a short one-night business trip. I booked and prepaid for a "Super Roomy" room ($311/night) which was supposed to have a desk and have lots of floor space, and was assigned a "Cozy Double" ($222/night), which was very small and tight, no room to really walk around the bed. When I said asked what room type I was in, they said "Cozy Double", then showed that I had booked a the "Super Roomy", yet they insisted I was in the same room category that I booked and they would not refund the (approx. $89) cost difference between the rooms. Also, the mattress and sheets were uncomfortable. So I won't stay here again.

We loved our stay, we were happily upgraded to one of their beautiful suites with a bathtub. The library area was great to do some work with and the gym was nice. Only downside is that the booking of the sauna is quite messy and staff often booking guests over each other or forgetting to turn the sauna on so it was cold.

It's probably the best of the boutiques in the area and it's a great location. Service is pretty average across the board and the check in and restaurant were particularly poor. Bed was very uncomfortable and cleaning wasn't great.

Lovely location, very convenient for Paddington and the Royal Albert Hall. I haven't slept so well in an hotel in a long, long time. The coffee was excellent and the breakfast splendid. The option to sit quietly and read in the library was bliss.

This is a popular, friendly, quietly elegant and sustainable hotel.
We were made welcome and graciously accommodated when the room wasn't quite suitable to our needs.
The small restaurant has an interesting, eclectic and healthy choice of dishes.
The young staff were warm and well-trained in a natural, conversational way.
Well-located for Paddington Station, yet quietly positioned, I would happily stay here again.

Muy cerca de Paddington por lo que es fácil moverte por la ciudad y llegar al aeropuerto. El hotel es bonito, las habitaciones son justas de tamaño. Nos tocó en la cuarta planta y tienen techo abuardillado. Aunque el hotel se ve muy nuevo, nuestra habitación tenía algunas señales de desgaste: suelo de madera algo magullado y suelo del baño manchado con ácidos de limpieza.

The design of all areas of the hotel is very calm and attractive in an understated manner just like advertised: it is a relief from the busy world out there. The health oriented food was great, service very friendly and responsive. The beds a touch firm to my liking and some room features looked and felt really nice, but were slightly impractical. The location between the Paddington station and Hyde Park is excellent. Overall, a great choice and better alternative to most of the other hotels in the area.
