Nice gastro pub. Cosy well equipped rooms aircon etc. Walkable to sandown races, very helpfull staff regards route to racecourse. Nice breakfast.

My second stay, it’s a lovely place very relaxed, food is excellent - I especially enjoyed the breakfast. The rooms are spotless ideal for solo travellers though maybe a little small for couples staying more than a night.

This was a lovely break. Will definitely be visiting again. The staff could not do enough for us and the atmosphere is really nice. Really pretty place.

Friendly and prompt check in. Rooms aren't massive, but are really good. Air conditioning is excellent, nice shower and excellent toiletries. Also found an iron, ironing board, a fan, and a hairdryer inside the wardrobe. An abundance of tea and coffee facilities in the room. Breakfast was ok. Good quality ingredients. Poached eggs were perfect, but not so keen on sourdough bread. Had a really nice lunch in the pub/restaurant.

Bed was small, to fit in the very small room, something that we are not used to finding in hotel rooms. It also creaked. The pillows were very flat.

Second we have stayed and it’s clean, comfy and very friendly staff.

We arrived at two told to get out the way . Otherwise lovely. If they had a reception area would be a lot easier

Staff were friendly and polite, food was excellent and the accommodation was just what we needed for a couple of nights away.

Little gem excellent value for money! The room was spotlessly clean, with comfortable bed. Rooms have air conditioning which was ideal given the current high temperatures. We ate in the bar on the evening of our stay and enjoyed a lovely selection of tapas. Breakfast was also delicious. Thoroughly recommend.

We only had one night at the Swan Inn and it was a very good experience. The staff were very friendly, welcoming and hospitable. The room was excellent and breakfast really good. All round good value for money.

The pub is nice but was being renovated at the time. Staff were excellent very helpful and friendly. It was 21 degrees overnight and the aircon didnt work, so not a great night. The breakfast is ok,would avoid the catalan sausage next time,very gristly. Overall very clean with polite staff ,would stay again if the occasion ever arose.

Friendly place with helpful staff. Great advice on Tapas for evening meal and excellent breakfast which was a like a an English breakfast but with some subtle Spanish flair thrown in. Coffee was superb too.

Lovely pub and great breakfast. The room was nice, but very warm and a bit small. But otherwise, the stay was great!

Our stay was great the pub had a good Spanish restaurant and the staff where really lovely I would definitely stay there again.

Our second stay at The Swan, so we knew what to expect. Motel-style bedrooms are on the small side, with very limited space to put clothes. Hospitality items (basic tea-bags and cafetiere for coffee) are provided but were not refreshed the next day without a reminder. The room layout could be considerably improved by moving the TV under the sloped ceiling and putting a slim chest of drawers in front of the window for the hospitality items and clothes storage. Please put a bedside light on each side of the bed - there is room and just having one is not sufficient! Provision of a small fridge in the room for fresh milk and chilled water would be appreciated. There is quite a lot of light pollution at night as the slatted blind and frosted window in the door don't block light from the outside lighting. Great breakfasts and friendly staff. Well located (10 minutes walk to the station) and easy to park.
