Lovely, comfortable hotel.

The King Charles Hotel is great value for money, rooms are fine as is the food and drink. It's not a Hilton, but neither is the price.

Welcomed by staff. Bed was really comfortable. Shower hot.

The staff really friendly. Breakfast in the morning was fine and the service was great

Premises was ok. I have stayed at the hotel before but i do believe that it needs an upgrade as it seem to be stuck in 1970's. Staff were polite and helpful

Great to see an independent hotel with a solid business model that allows them to compete price wise with big chains. Great food.

Customer service was friendly & helpful. Breakfast was good & offered sandwiches for the morning we left too early for breakfast. The hotel was clean but dated. The bathrooms could do with stripping back & updating.

In its heyday, this was probably an excellent hotel, now looking very tired. Not helped by a car park that appears behind a wire fence because of the sectioned off redevelopment area. I understand the council are not making encouraging noises. This is a shame as there is a lot to like about the hotel.

Every time we stay at this hotel and we have stayed there a lot it never fails to disappoint. Staff very friendly and accommodating, clean and comforting hotel. It has become our favourite getaway.

No air conditioning can be very warm in hot weather ok for budget hotel

Very convenient location for visiting Chatham Dockyards & R.E. Museum. Interior, rooms and garden much better looking than initial carpark 60's motel appearance. Light and airy bedroom and bathroom. Single glazed so you might want to ask for a room garden side, away from busy Brompton Road though it is set back.Good size carpark. Decent bar and dining room areas, with unexpected and excellent local singer providing evening entertainment, though this may have been linked to the Dutch coach trips overnight stop. Quaint, privately run hotel, with many returning guests; adapted from original NAAFI site and still catering to corporate events for local military reunions. Would be happy to book again in prefence to chain hotels.

Not enough disabled parking & non disabled parked in that parking meaning my husband had to walk further on the uneven excess parking area staff were told non disabled where using the bays

It was our first time at the KIng Charles Hotel, the staff were very friendly, the room we had was nice and clean. The only thing was we could hear the traffic outside, all night. So we didnt get alot of sleep,as we were woken up alot. Apart from that the hotel itself was excellent. We would come back again, as long as we could have a different room, away from the main road.
