Ive stayed here a few times, as i always have a great sleep there but not this time. The smoke detector was flashing and the Air con also had flashing light. Which the guy at the front desk came and covered all the flashing lights. I also mentioned the aircon was not working. Not even the fan setting would work. But i guess because it was late no one could fix it. Slept horribly which defeated the purpose of me staying.

Really great price for what we needed! Will remember for other occasions

I had reserved a single room for myself. I understand and I’m ok with the fact that many hotel told in Europe do not have AC. However this its almost inhumane to ask you to sleep in one of those almost room pods with no air condition and no airflow. The fan provided blew very little air and the air was hot so it was a convection oven. I asked for a partial refund and was told the AC is broken so they do not advertise. But this was a different issue. Even the front desk suggested I opened the room door!!! Which I ended up doing at 4am after no sleep

Great budget hotel conveniently situated near Hackney Central. Very clean and better than I expected. My only gripe is no air conditioning which was really needed. Also to make it nicer the coffee offered could have been from a nice nespresso machine instead of instant.

What Went Well: - Basic Utilities: The room was clean, basic, and equipped with the necessary amenities for a simple stay. - Value for Money: As a budget accommodation, it serves its primary purpose if you are simply looking for a place to sleep. Areas for Improvement: - Air Conditioning: Although the room had A/C, we were informed by staff that only two rooms in the building had working units. As a result, the room remained uncomfortably warm. - Service Follow-Through: When we queried the heat, the staff offered to bring a fan to our room. Unfortunately, this promised fan was never delivered. - Bedding Comfort: The pillows provided were extremely thin and lacked the support needed for a comfortable night's sleep. Overall Verdict: While this hotel covers the basics, the lack of functioning climate control and the missed service follow-up on the fan made the stay less comfortable than expected. It is a viable low-cost option, but guests should set realistic expectations regarding amenities and service reliability.

Stayed for one night, convenient for work and clean. Would stay again.

Air conditioning was broken. Room was more akin to a sauna that a bedroom. When we asked about air con, we were told it was broken in all rooms. They did provide a fan, but this simply blew hot air around. It was exacerbated by the fact the room didn’t have a window (!). I was shocked that windowless rooms are sold without prior warning. Not good.

Clean hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Good location close to metro/bus stops (less than 10 min walk) and surrounded by many restaurants. Unfortunately the air conditioning was broken during our stay. Some rooms also don't come with windows. Overall a good experience.

Sadly no air con in rooms, staff lovely. Never used kitchen room immaculate. Right next to bus stops to where we needed to travel.

Very good would not hesitate to use again

For a budget hotel this gave us everything we needed, it was quiet, bed was comfortable and very clean. It was also next door to the tube station making travelling so easy! Costa and lots of shops, restaurants in very close proximity. Would i stay here again? Yes!

Hotel is well situated for the London Stadium but......we had 4 rooms booked and the air con unit in my room wasn't working. The receptionist was no help whatsoever and it was one of the hottest days of the year, amber and red warnings for heat. The receptionist said they don't advertise air con but didn't have a fan either! Resulting in not a great night's sleep

Budget stay. Get what you pay for. Room clean with basic amenities but okay. Just round the corner from Hackney Central train station so good location. Costas right Nextdoor. Other shops too. If hot weather, try ringing ahead as you won’t always get a window, and fans were in short supply. . Entry unusual - intercom entries/locked doors which felt unusual/not so welcoming. Thought the entryway/lift could do with a good clean as grubby but room was fine requires photo id - not something we were prepared for. You’ll also need bank card. Yes ok stay if you want budget

No aircon and was given a heater when asked if could have a fan. For £150 for a night it wasn’t great at all.

Really nice place for a quick stay. My family was very comfortable in two double-bed suites. And there are lots of things to do in the surrounding area of Hackney Central. Very convenient for the underground, and the staff were awesome.

Staff will give you a key to anyone's room, just present your card and tell them it doesn't work, and your room number. Or whichever you want to enter. I did this twice for my own room, two different staff... The first didn't ask my name, the second helpfully told me what my name was (rather than ask me for it to confirm the booking name). Have they not been following the news?

The facilities were limited and room was barely clean. The main reason for complaining was due to guests in a room on the same floor blaring music till around 4am in the middle of the night. After it had been going for about 1.5 hours I rang reception and asked them to come and ask the guests to turn it off. The receptionist came upstairs and tried knocking on their door but did not get an answer. She tried a few times but was unsuccessful. She came to tell us she couldn’t do anything else because they won’t answer the door. We then had to listen to the music until 4am. There was no security who could help or anything that stopped it. It was terrible customer service and meant for the worst night sleep in a hotel to date.
