Beautiful old building and friendly welcome. Staff really helpful and room was spacious with lovely decor and a stunning view across the city and the valley. Peaceful location a mile out of the main centre of Bath, up a hill, but easily reached by regular bus service if arriving by train.

Receptionist was very helpful when we checked in and out. Room was very nice and clean.

Room was very clean, staff very attentive, breakfast was very good although a tad expensive, parking £15.00 per night based on a first come first serve basis, but once parked up no need to use the car again as the bus stop is on the main road past the hotel, city is 0.7 miles from the hotel, easy walk down cardio workout to get back, we would definitely stay there again.

On arrival we were met with a friendly smile and checked

Extremely hot room, no air conditioning and window wouldnt open.Fans were provided but it just circulated warm air. When I asked if there was another room, they offered a room exactly the same, ie no air conditioning, window not opening, when I declined they asked if we wanted to check out. Poor customer service and avoid in this hot weather absolutely stifling.

Have stayed here before. Great to have accessible parking near the hotel on arrival. Staff really attentive and helpful at all times. Delicious breakfast with lots of choices. Handy bus stop into the centre of town so taxis not needed. Always an enjoyable stay.

We stayed for a couple of nights staff were all really helpful and very pleasant. The place was clean and tidy all the time I did sadly find the bed very hard and floor squeaky to every step you made. I would still recommend as is brilliant location if you don’t want to be rushed get in the centre and bus stop is just steps away from the hotel.

wir waren nur 1 Nacht dort, Es ist ein klassisches Hotel im altenglischen Stil, Die Zimmer sind ausreichend groß und stilgerecht ausgestattet. Das Frühstück -ebenfalls sehr british- war gut und reichlich. Parken kann man für 15 Pounds pro Nacht am Hotel, aber der Parkplatz ist früh voll. In 15min ist man zu Fuß in der wunderschönen Altstadt.

Good clean room. Staff very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was very good and a very good time slot 7:30am-10-30am so plenty of flexibility. Good to have parking at the hotel you can just leave your car at the car park and walk to central Bath or nearby attractions The Circus and Royal Crescent only 10 minutes walk away. Bit of a steep climb coming back up but good exercise. Would definitely stay again.

It's OK but nothing special. Staff could be more enthusiastic but seem uninterested in working within hospitality.

Not ideal for wheelchair users as the lift is rather small also really difficult to get into the reception area from the car park as there is a big ledge to go over for access so a ramp is very much needed. Great parking Friendly staff Decent views and a nice room

Unterkunft mit kostenpflichtigen Parkplatz etwas oberhalb von Bath. Service im Restaurant sehr aufmerksam, freundliche und hilfsbereite Rezeptionisten. Das Haus ist sehr verwinkelt und trotz Aufzug können auf dem Weg ins Zimmer Treppen kommen. Die Zimmer sind zweckdienlich.

We hired garden view rooms, the balcony is being refurbished so we had views of scaffolding, the windows would not open and it was a very hot day and night. The air con unit and fan worked ok. It would have been good to be forewarned of what to expect rather than just that we’re maintenance works. It was a surprise for my Fathers 81st birthday and it was sad that the room was hit and surrounded by scaffolding
