It is very nice budget accommodation. The location is outstanding, right on the beach. The parking could be a challenge. It cost £10 a day. Shower was lovely hot. All restaurants are close by. Including band stand. We have a lovely stay. We will come back again

For the price it was good enough and I had a good stay and good night's sleep. The shower had no hot water and there's a pub nearby that was noisy but otherwise ok. Parking is very hard to find nearby.

We were thankfully only staying for one night, as the experience was extremely disappointing and nowhere near what was advertised. Our room was located in the basement, with very steep stairs to access it — something that was especially difficult while travelling with a toddler and a buggy. The basement-level window was directly at street level, so all we could see were people’s feet and passing vehicles. Unfortunately, the noise insulation was also very poor, and it genuinely felt as though we were trying to sleep on the street itself due to the constant noise outside. While the room appeared superficially clean, there were no rugs or soft flooring, and the overall condition did not feel particularly comfortable or welcoming. The room also smelled strongly of cigarettes throughout our stay. There were several maintenance and safety concerns that were quite alarming. The door could not be locked from the inside, which made us feel very uneasy, especially travelling as a family. In addition, the fridge provided in the room was leaking. What was most frustrating was that the room we were given did not resemble the advertised photos at all. In fact, photos of this particular basement room do not appear to be shown anywhere in the listing, which felt very misleading. Overall, this was not the standard of accommodation we expected, and I would strongly advise future guests — especially families with young children — to consider carefully before booking.

Beach view great staff

Great sea view. Comfortable bed. Property is very run down. The room itself was clean as was the very tired bathroom.

The hotel looks very shabby from the outside but the room was lovely bright and clean with a beautiful view of the seafront and pier. Bathroom window let in a draft and there was no plug for the bath but these are the only negatives.

The hotel room was great , no staff down stairs until booking in. So couldnt enjoy the day without our luggage until 3 . Great sea view,a little ran diwn and needs maintainence in places. Hallway light flickered on and off all night.no refeshments on site i e , water drinks machine or snacks

The hotel staff are professional and supportive. They promptly attended to my requests. Overall, I enjoyed my stay.

Nice room. Don't be put off by the exterior, the rooms are bright, clean and I was very comfortable during my stay.

Amazing view out to sea from my room which was just across the beach. I've stayed at the property a few times now, each time in different rooms, and I've always been happy with my experience and consider it good value for the price. Yes, the property is in need of an external facelift and some of the common parts e.g. stairway carpets are due replacing but it's evident works are going on and the rooms I've stayed have been modernised, clean and the showers are fab.

Bed was too close to the wall, it was difficult to go to the window side every time. Bed sheet, pillow cases and gilt cover had not been changed. There was only one staff in the hotel, or you can call it a guest house.

It wasnt the best, my window had a huge crack alway the way across , there was some horrible stains on the duvet, and cover, gap under dior which made the room cold

I recently stayed at this hotel and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. The property is clearly very old and has not been maintained to a reasonable standard. From the moment I arrived, it felt run down and neglected. The cleanliness was particularly concerning. The room was visibly dirty, with dust and grime in multiple areas. The bedding was especially off-putting—it looked worn, unclean, and far from fresh, which made it very uncomfortable to sleep. One of the biggest issues was the lack of hot water. After a long journey, not being able to have a proper shower was extremely frustrating and unacceptable for any hotel, regardless of price. Overall, the hotel felt tired, poorly maintained, and lacking in basic standards of hygiene and comfort. I would not recommend staying here unless significant improvements are made.

Room was newly renovated, everything looked great especially the bathroom. Very quiet and cosy stay.

Room is ok

This hotel is great for value alone. I paid £100 for 4 nights. Great value ! So let's get down to brass tacks. From the outside it doesn't look great and the interior could be better BUT the room itself was really really nice and clean. Can't complain. TV, kettle, soaps. All the basics. Ahmed was very friendly and hospitable. Cleaning staff friendly and talkative. A few things to improve. Improve email communication prior to checking in. Showers could have more power and sometimes struggled to get good heat. I was disappointed not to get the room I requested. Nevertheless, I would thouroughly recommend this hotel if you are on a budget and looking to get away. I would definitely go back. Thanks for a lovely stay.

Great value for money. I've stayed in two rooms now - 1 small single and 1 double room. Both were clean with modern furnishings giving them an clean, open feel. The floor - not carpeted (a bonus IMHO) - was clean and hygienic. The Shower in both rooms was FABULOUS! Don't be put off by the exterior, which is in need of refreshing, this accommodation is very good value for money and ideally situated for access to the beach, shops and town centre etc.

Overall it was all good

The view was excellent, staff very helpful,room was great value.The outside of Hotel needs a bit of tlc and carpets on floors need good cleaning on 2nd and third floors.
