The Hosts were really helpful. Loads of suggestions on what to do and where to eat. Breakfast was amazing. The shower was good and the room was clean and tidy. Perfect for a few days

Our room was perfect! Large, comfortable and spotless. Breakfast was delicious, homemade shortbread and other in house baked treats. Then eggs, bacon, sausage…. The hosts are beyond wonderful!! Fun, engaging, accommodating. Highly recommend!!

The hosts were wonderful! We loved our room with the meadow view! Breakfast was tasty and you cannot beat the location- on the edge of town so it was quiet, yet literally a two minute walk into town. Loved it!

We stayed here in June 2025 and loved it! The room was very clean and beautifully decorated, with such a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The owners were incredibly friendly and made us feel like part of the family. The location is perfect, just a short walk to the center. Everything was easy to reach and we would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended!

Bare 5-6 minutters gange fra det yrende sommerlivet i Bourton-on-the-water ligger dette idylliske stedet. Deilig hjemmelaget frokost, og på kveldene satt vi i hagen og nøt stillheten. Kommer gjerne tilbake hit neste gang vi skal til Cotswolds området.

It was very peaceful and nice view looking at the sheep Owners very welcoming and friendly Room was ok no tv but knew that when we booked they did have a big tv downstairs you could watch Breakfast could be a little bigger but all in all fine Would return again as a lovely couple

Absolutely delightful! Although it is described as a 'guest house' rather than a 'hotel', the room was better than in many hotels I have stayed in, and the ensuite bathroom was absolutely first rate -- with both a bath and a shower, and excellent water pressure. All spotlessly clean, and with abundant natural light. Breakfast was excellent and the cooked component was prepared for each guest individually. Location could hardly be better! 'Off the beaten track' -- but the hustle and busy-ness of Bourton-on-the-Water is just a couple of minutes' walk away. (Maybe 90 seconds.) Only breakfast is served on the property -- but this is not an issue given the abundance of restaurants and pubs just nearby. The owner/managers, Wendy and Clive, have beautful auras of warmth and welcome and joy. They really 'make' the place what it is. I can imagine spending a few days here in peaceful seclusion and isolation to finish my next book -- maybe I will! Imran Ahmad unimagined org

We enjoyed our stay, and Clive and Wendy made us feel very welcome. Breakfast in the morning was excellent. The room was a little warm during an unusually hot June week, but we didn’t expect air-conditioning at our accommodations in this area. Overall, we loved our visit to this beautiful town!

Lovely stay with Wendy and Clive! Big well-appointed room and bath, short walk to town. Variety of breakfast choices, pretty gardens for a glass of wine in the evening.

We really enjoyed our stay at Meadow Rise. Bourton on the Water is a pretty place and conveniently located. Some lovely walks but you do need a car. Thanks Wendy and Clive for your hospitality

Wonderful location with a 3 min walk into the lively hustle & bustle of Bourton on the water. Lovely clean accomodation with views accross fields from our window. Our hosts were very friendly & cooked an awesome full english breakfast for us every morning. Plenty of parking space on their large driveway too. Wonderful, thankyou
