Nice lady on duty who seemed to do everything from front desk to serving our dinner efficiently and friendly.

Room in poor condition but excellent staff

I am unsure about the quality of my breakfast, as it was not served until 8 o'clock. I had to depart at 7:15. The staff was present and even managed to have their toast on the go, but it appears that an earlier breakfast was not an available option. Eben it was paied for in advanced again no information was avaliable

Staff were great especially the ladies on reception, was happy with our room but next time a room with a view across the gardens would be amazing, throughly enjoyed out stay

The hotel does have a couple of positives – the view from the property was lovely, and the road leading up to it was quite pretty. Unfortunately, the overall experience was disappointing. The building is very old and feels extremely dated, with parts that seemed unsafe. My room had a strong smell of damp and clear signs of neglect, including flaking paint, damp patches in the corners, and black mould in the shower. On top of that, the swimming pool was in terrible condition and wasn’t properly maintained, which was very off-putting. Overall, the stay was uncomfortable, and I felt the condition of the facilities fell far below acceptable standards. I would not recommend staying here unless major improvements and renovations are made.

Great; place, location, parking and nice pool. Wonderful sunday lunch Its a big hotel and needs some of the decor updating.

Nice big room, but the hotel is in need of some cleaning and decorating. In Our room the curtains were ripped and hanging down, only one blind the other was missing, paint peeled off the chest of drawers no edges of the room are cleaned. The paint on the door to the ladies by the pool was in a desperate state. Breakfast on the first day was a shambles they could not get the order right and we could hear the lady shouting at the lad for his poor service, fawlty towers springs to mind, lovely girl on duty the second morning and breakfast went like clockwork, lastly when we checked out they tried to charge us when we had already paid, gave us the incorrect invoice. They need to improve on customer service.

Room was fab, a suite and massive with a good view of the Bristol Channel.. My only grip, black mould in shower, deep clean required.

We’ve stayed here before so knew what to expect. Lovely big room with tea/coffee facilities. Breakfast fab, came on a hot plate which was a bonus, good choice too. We also used the pool again great experience. Very close to the front and plenty of parking on site.

the so called deluxe room could never be describe as deluxe. the bathroom was dirty, the tv was the size of a postage stamp and could hardly see it from the bed, the furniture was in poor state and miss matched, plastic drinking glasses and two pathetic biscuits ,, the breakfast was poor rubber eggs , tinned mushrooms and uncooked tomatoes very very disappointing, the pool area was very tired and not somewhere you would want to spend any time bottom of doors rotted , flaking paint toilets unpleasant. all needs an upgrade !!!!!

Loved welcome to the hotel. Room was nice and the bed was very comfy. The views and grounds were beautiful. Breakfast there was plenty to choose from.

A very warm, welcoming place. The staff go out of their way to help. Although parts of the building and furniture were tired don’t let this stop you from staying. We had sea views and a generous size room with comfortable bed. The restaurant and bar had a good range of menu choices and the food was tasty. The meal and wine was reasonably priced. A lovely garden space with lots of sitting areas. A garden gate which comes out near the sea, so a short walk along the prom to the Heritage railway. An added bonus was the on site parking. A really good find.
