With our usual venue booked, we opted for the Old Hall House near NEC—and wow, it truly impressed. From the moment we stepped in, each room showcased thoughtful design touches that made our short trip feel fun and memorable. The staff were swift and attentive, ensuring everything ran smoothly, while the quirky décor brought charm without skimping on quality. It’s rare to find a place that’s both refreshingly different and meticulously maintained. We left already planning our return—this one’s a definite keeper!

Excellent location, 10 mins drive from the NEC. Quirky accomodation, nice place.

Our stay was very comfortable with a lovely welcome from the team in the restaurant even on a busy Sunday afternoon. We stayed in the Jill pod very clean and comfortable but the door handle on the bathroom does need fixing.

Arrived late but staff were extremely helpful, showed me where I was stopping and gave all the info I needed. Room was clean, comfortable and one of the nicest I’ve stopped in. Breakfast was delicious and again the staff were extremely friendly and the service was great

I liked my stay here but it has the potential to be so much better. Appreciate this is an old property, but that doesn't excuse upkeep. The room I booked is called Deluxe Suite and if you are going to call it that then you can't have the negatives below. Negatives: The internal pipes of the Jacuzzi bath wasn't cleaned, so when it was turned on it spewed dirt out. Mattress needs replacing, it is a cheap coil one that has seen better days and i'm glad I didn't stay longer than one day. The secondary screen over the window that shelters the room from sound had a missing panel, and being beside the M6 and the event space, you need it! Positives: Huge room, it's one of those old buildings that has plenty of character. Restaurant was very good, the evening dinner and breakfast were both excellent. Overall, I would come back and give it another try but I feel at a minimum they must look to change the mattress.

Did not have any warning of an event on the Saturday night and had to deal with very loud music and constant screaming till past 2am

Really nice glamping pod with its own small loo. There were a few cobwebs and dust on the window sill, otherwise it felt clean and tidy. Staff in reception were very pleasant. Very quiet overnight this may change if an event is being held tho. Overall a very peaceful and comfortable stay

Wonderful room, most fun bar & restaurant I've ever been in, has to be seen to be believed. Needs sockets & usb nearer the bedside tables.

The location of old hall house was great to get to the NEC, a 20 minute drive avoiding big M roads , The hut was warm and very clean.

The pod l stayed in was comfortable, the door lock was sticky, the wash room was adequate. A typical glamping experience that i enjoyed.

We stayed in a chalet it was very clean & Cosy with a lovely bathroom, tea & coffee making facilities & TV. We dined in the restaurant both evening & in the morning for breakfast. The food was lovely & the restaurant was very clean & quirky. We will definitely book to stay again!!

Ok so initially booked a shepherds hut but it’s definitely not for two as the bed is very small and not much space around it but it is very cosy, clean and warm (once the heater is on.) Would come back alone for the experience! We asked to be moved to a room and the staff were more than accommodating. The room itself was very olde worlde. a little too much for our liking but we appreciated being moved there. The tv channels did not work very well apart from the basic freeview channels and it was hard to turn the radiator down so it got very warm. It was all very clean but just a little drab in terms of decoration. Had two breakfast vouchers and we thought we were too late but met a lovely man on checkout who kindly insisted we had some breakfast before we left. The staff really are lovely.

we stayed for 1 night with Jacuzzi. All went OK. Had a Nice Breakfast too. Kitchen staffs also friendly. But After Breakfast we came to room, sit in a Jacuzzi. But the Hot water in not working. we informed the reception wait for 1 hour, But no response. Even on the Electric shower hot water didn't work. So we didnt enjoy the Trip.
