Had to stay overnight in London Heathrow with my kids. Found their cool family room, which it’s the first time i see bunk beds in a hotel room,
Kids loved it and couldn’t beat the convenience of being this close to the airport. It took us 9 min from airport to hotel (terminal 5) and 5min from hotel to airport the next morning (terminal 3).
I also very much appreciated the cleanliness of the bathroom, it seemed recently renovated.

This is obviously a very busy tourist hotel. As such, it was noisy and impersonal but, for us, it served its purpose.
Food was not good and service appeared to be non- existent. The restaurant was not serving the Italian food on the website menu and the only item appeared to be a rather unappealing buffet. I am always cautious about lukewarm creamy chicken.
As I said, it served its purpose in giving us a stopover for a night but I ended up feeling tired and confused.
A 4.45am asked for alarm call did not happen - no surprise there!

The pool was great. We had problems with sticky floors in the room and sheets that didn't cover the mattress. The topper was when they accidentally gave out room to some else while we were in it just after we checked in. Then locked us out when trying to fix the booking mistake. They did fix all the problems it was just a disappointing first day.

The check-in and check-out process as well as the room were good. Unfortunately the next morning’s breakfast experience was disrupted by construction noise, which seemed to conveniently stop toward the end of breakfast hours. It wasn’t a great start to the morning before a long drive up north.

Parking was horrendous, took me 30 minutes to find a space. Hotel rooms had this smell as though one one had smoked previously, window view awful. Was just about ok for an 8 hour stay, wouldn’t stay again.

Very comfortable rooms & excellent breakfast options. Super convenient for an overnight before flying out of LHR & well priced. There was an issue parking due to it being very busy, but the staff were accommodating to us parking the vehicle outside of a designated space.

Room was nice and the restaurant and bar area was good.
Carpet in the hallways was very worn and desperately needing changed.
Drinks in the bar are very expensive and there is a service charge added on even if you go up to the bar yourself! It can be removed if you ask but really a service charge when you are paying £17 for a glass of wine!!

The shuttle service is lacking and you have to pay to get there. The check in process was horrible. They make you do it yourself and after a 12 hour flight, paying for the shuttle and doing it with five kids…. It was not fun!

Prior to this visit, I had never stayed at a radisson hotel but it was honestly one of the best hotels I have been to. The hotel had so much character and spunk! More importantly though, the family sized room was spacious and clean. The staff were also great. I’d definitely come back to stay here on my next visit to great ol’ London.

As I said, it served its purpose in giving us a stopover for a night but I ended up feeling tired and confused.
