it's all self service, the app will ask you to pay £40 for an insurance which i didn't. The place is old, the maintance is OK, but not at its best. If you only want a budget stay than you can consider. Given we've paid over £100 per night, I would say live further than Oxford city centre you will definitely find some better place to stay. Local restaurants are nice and close to local attraction is a great plus.

No hot water in the sink; wasn’t fixed until the morning I left. Shower is so tiny, you could have a panic attack from the cluster phobia, and the shower water alternates between boiling hot and freezing cold. No midpoint, but mostly freezing cold. Room was also hot with no air conditioning and the single bed is small too. Horrible night - glad I didn’t stay longer.

A person should show up and enter the code. Not everybody are digital:)

Fint og rent rom. Ca 20 minutter gange inn til sentrum. Den automatiske innsjekkingen var litt vanskelig med mobiltelefon, men gikk veldig god hjelp over WhatsApp.

We got a very hot attic room in the middle of summer. There was a fan which really helped, but the window was very hard to open. The stairs were quite a hike and the quality of the place didn’t feel great. I ended up leaving a day early, which was a really good idea. The rooms are smaller than they look on the pictures. Very handy for parking and not too far from the town centre but really set your expectations low if you want to stay here.

Schone kamer en goed geoutilleerd. En fijn dat er parkeerplek was. Minder was dat er geen huiskamer was oid. En zonder staff ging alles prima en reageerden zij adequaat toen wij access vroegen naar de gemeenschappelijke ruimte. ( wel benauwend als je bang bent voor brand want er waren geen fire escapes en de ramen konden niet ver open.

Da sich das Zimmer direkt unter dem Dach befindet, sollte es bei hochsommerlichen Temperaturen nicht vermietet werden, da das Zimmer über keine Klimaanlage verfügt. Eine Übernachtung im Hochsommer ist definitiv nicht zu empfehlen.

Provided everything I needed. All information was communicated efficiently. The room was clean and the bus stop into the city was opposite the hotel.

An easy place to get to and close to the high street; clean. Highly recommended

Unfortunately, we spent two sleepless nights at this hotel. Even our 5-year-old child couldn't get any sleep. The small room gets incredibly hot and stuffy in the summer, and the fan provided didn't help at all. Since our windows faced the street, the traffic noise was just awful, making it impossible to sleep. The bedding had a very strong, irritating smell of laundry detergent, and the mattress on one of the beds was ancient and uncomfortable. On the positive side, the place is clean, the staff is pleasant and friendly, and it’s located close to the city center.

Car park code unreliable, and no staff to assist as it is all automated. We had permission to park till 2.30, code would not work, guy on site reprimanded us for parking past checkout time, but "let us off" this time!

It was very basic but essentially all you needed. The picture did not reflect the room at all. That part was a bit missleading. The room was MUCH smaller. At the end of the day, however, it was about all I needed. Location was great.

The purpose of this review is not to simply disparage the property, but to help improve it in the future. The cleanliness left much to be desired. The kettle in my room was used and full of water, and the shower curtain was filthy at the bottom. The only positive was that the sheets were clean. In addition, the parking issue was a nightmare; the staff gave no instructions on parking until I asked them about it, and they told me that I have to pay and reserve for a parking space. Entering the parking lot in itself was a challenge, and the instructions were incredibly unclear. The property’s photos are also completely misleading, as the property does not look anything like what they’re promoting. Everything requires an immediate upgrade.

This is a very handy site to town and food shops. Good to have parking available but very expensive when already paying for a room. The room was nothing like the one presented in the picture, it was very much smaller, with just a single bed. Other facilities in the room were good. I would stay here again, however there are no staff on site and the helpline phone number did not work.

Decent price in a good location for east Oxford. That’s where the accolades end. From overly annoying/“automated” checkin to lack of comfort, this place has a lot of downside.
